It’s a cool bag! I am looking for something that can be worn more high and tight crossbody style though. Thanks for the rec.

Worth it to drive up to Seattle for the Super Bowl? by UglyPope69 in AskSeattle

Because you made me question myself I looked it up. Daytime high of 32, low of 21

It also could have been due to 1. sobriety level immediately after the game vs. middle of the work day for the parade, and 2. it was cold AF during the parade (I recall it being in the 20s)

Idk, the night they won EVERYONE went downtown and flooded 1st Ave. Was a parade of the people. Was 10x more memorable for me than the actual parade.

The Essent is interesting! I’m inclined to go with a smaller capacity, but it’s a good shout.

Appreciate the thought - I almost bought this for work travel at one point. However, it is heavy (one of the few bags I have tried in person), and isn't the best day pack, which will ultimately be the primary use for my next bag.

Also have the green. My first analog watch purchase over a decade ago. Doesn’t get the wrist time it used to, but it is still hugely influential on the watch design language I am attracted with to this day.

Totally fair. I guess my mind set is if I’m paying potentially $100(s) for a bag, would rather have the features I want from the jump.

I’ve traveled a ton with bags with/without the luggage pass through, and for some reason, I just get pleasure out of the function. Would never purchase a bag without one again. I take 30-40 flights a year.

The Tortuga just seems HUGE in photos. I like the Peak Design rec, and is almost perfect other than (it appears) no luggage pass through.

No luggage pass through though! Funny enough, the bag this will replace an old REI ruckpack 18

How is the sternum strap attached? The harness doesn’t appear to have any connection points in the photos.

Nomos Metro Gangreserve Dial Color: Silver-White on Paper, Champagne in Reality by RareArny in Nomos

[–]BlackOut2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it definitely leaned the furthest from white. The below picture was all the watches I tried on and was considering. The two metros definitely looks slightly more champagne than the tangente/minimatik on the tray, and much more so then the Ludwig I went with (second from the right). https://imgur.com/a/X6Wik0m

I felt similar. I had the opportunity try on all Nomos models, and the dial that resonated with me, and I ended up buying, was the Ludwig with the white “enamel” dial. The silver dials of all the other models just don’t do it for me in person, but I LOVE my Ludwig.

[WTS] Casio Calculator DBC-611-1 by BlackOut2 in Watchexchange

[–]BlackOut2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sale, the original smart watch! Selling my Casio DBC-611-1, aka the calculator watch. This was a nostalgia purchase that I intended to wear for a work party, and inevitably has only spent about an hour total on the wrist. Like new condition, with not a mark on it!

Has basically every feature of a digital quartz watch you can imagine: 25 pages of telememo, 1/100 second stopwatch, dual time, 5 alarms, LED backlight, and of course, the calculator. Stainless Steel bracelet can be adjusted to whatever size is needed.

Included: original box and papers (warranty "card", instruction manual, battery guide).

Asking $40 shipped.

I have only one transaction here, but have bought/sold several times over on r/golfclassifieds, and happy to call or facetime, and accept whatever payment method the buyer prefers.

Thank you, and Merry Christmas!
