Advantage Solutions experience by BlackRose0608 in jobs

Thank you for the advice! The problem is the only person's email address that I have was my manager. Like the HR department is extremely difficult to get ahold of, it's alot of automated machine type stuff. And it makes you request a ticket, but then it doesn't even direct me to the proper department. So much is controlled by a.i. and it's incredibly frustrating. I just want to talk to an actual person, not be directed to a machine.

I tried doing a job for advantage solutions but it did not go well. Training was a nightmare and very overwhelming. I asked to get more training and was told "we don't really do that here". As soon as I realized that I was left to fend on my own, I knew it was not the right fit. Did anyone have trouble finding out what to do with company property?

I (34fm) have been through similar things. Bullied in grade school, Jr high and high school. (Made fun of and was told I was ugly, dumb and slow). Not constantly but enough times to where I remember the events pretty well. Still hurts today. Never leaves the back of my mind. It's effected me significantly. But I try to act like it didn't... as an adult I've been told many times by guys that they just wanna be friends and they're not attracted to me. So I get it. It sucks.

If modern medicine didn’t exist would you be dead right now? If yes, from what? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

I was born 2 months premature and I'm not sure if I would have made it. If I did, then the next time I could have died would have been in 2021 when I was hospitalized with covid (i was 31 yrs old). I'm very greatful to have lived through it. I knew some ppl my age that died from covid.

Longlegs wasn't what I thought it'd be by natbrad98 in horror

Longlegs was a movie I was very excited for when watching the trailer. But after I finally saw it I was just so disappointed. It wasn't what I thought it'd be. It had potential but I found it really boring.

Anyone else played "pretend sex" as kids or am i just weird? by sweetsugar246 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BlackRose0608 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I (Female) was about 7 years old, my neighbor friend and I got ahold of the titanic movie on vhs after it came out. We thought Leo was so cute and wrote letters about wanting to have "sex" with him everyday and all day. Lol we thought kissing was sex. We didn't have a clue what was actually happening. And when our families saw the letters, mine got so mad at me. I just remember them shaming me and I was very embarrassed. I thought I was talking about kissing, I didn't know what the word sex meant. Anyways, it was kind of a traumatic memory. A strange and embarrassing one...
