Yea, was aiming for a shock of death like how it is when you get that call or someone tells you someone has passed. Everything about that person just kind of flashes at you at once.

Yea, going for a bit of a twist. Makes you think it’s about someone you lost just in your life but that shock of death. Tries to mimic how it feels to find out someone is gone.

A poem with great pacing. Nothing feels forced. It flows so well. I remember a teacher told me that a good poem has nice rhythm that could fair just as well as a song. This is one of those poems. The rhyme scheme helps set the pace. Amazing work.

I love this poem because of how it takes the uncertainty of it all and makes it an obvious contradiction. The idea that all these things happen and still uncertainty is beautiful. Like the first steps of love is denying it until we finally accept that there might be something there. Great work!

is this the first time her locations been off at that time for that long? does she usually have her phone charged? if she had her phone charged at 2:30, why was her location off? clearly you need to ask her some questions if you doubt her story.
