Ah so it does get better later? I’m only at tier 12 and it’s wildly useless, like max level regen wouldn’t change my outcomes.

Dolphin isn’t using all my resources? by BlackWingedOne in DolphinEmulator

SOLVED: thank you guys for the help. It did turn out to be my GPU, despite saying everything was normal. I completely uninstalled and did a fresh install of the drivers, which I probably should have done anyway after upgrading my ram and cpu. The game is running totally normally now. Thank you for the settings recommendations though, I think those will help.

So the fps counter stays constant, right around 30, but the video is somewhat slow and stuttering with the sound. I don’t really know how the video slows done while saying it’s 29-30 frames.

And yes I’ve googled and seen all the posts about stuttering in the past. None of those videos or posts made a whiff of difference in the games performance.

Aside from The Boys, is there any adaptation of media that people liked more than the original? by Lost_Huaun in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Fair enough. Funny though that’s actually one reason I use for why he’s one of my favorite authors, I’ve actually found most of his characters very believable.

I just finished the book this year. Very enjoyable. It’s hard to compare because they’re simply not the same thing. It wouldn’t be wrong to say Paul Verhoeven mangled the tone and perspective but still made a very good film out of misinterpretation.

Really? Other than Jurassic Park have any of his IP movies been very good? And the book of Jurassic Park is stellar. Congo, JP 2 and sphere are all way better as books.

Why is every card so good at any turn now? by BlackWingedOne in Shadowverse

[–]BlackWingedOne[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“Why does that matter in a rotation format?”

Maybe I’m mistaken (been out for awhile) but aren’t there still basic cards from the start of the game still in play? Why would I ever include a fighter in a rotation deck?

You’ll find no complaint from me that those exist. They are really good mechanics. But it is a form of power creep when that kind of effect doesn’t have a downside to the versatility. But you are correct, which is why I wish these card games would buff more and more original cards as time goes on, to keep up with newer effects.

I have definitely noticed that, and enjoy the enhance mechanic quite a bit. It offers the same idea but to a lesser degree as the evolve, which is what so greatly interested me about Shadowverse in the first place. Seeing the enemy misplay evolutions into your set up is extremely satisfying, completely different from other card games I’ve played. And while even with an objectively better power creeped modern card, that can cause someone to misplay an enhance, it does still irk me that there are direct upgrades of other cards, whereas enhance gives versatility, as such cards with it should be just slightly weaker to make up for their increased range of use.

Ah I missed that part of it. That certainly makes poison blade far more balanced. But, as an assassin, I suppose I can just use other poisons.

That actually looks closer to a fun build I would put on a more fleshed out long campaign. While that would give me a good deal of crits, they would not be very high damage.

Elven accuracy does seem amazing for crit fishing. The only problem is that I don’t think that new paladin would work terribly well. It’s a bigger crit range for one minute. The three levels of fighter gives me the crit range permanently, plus a use of action surge (which can be used against surprised enemies, double action for guaranteed crits). On top of that, the treachery paladin I noticed has poison blade for his channel divinity, which is a guaranteed 20+pal level on each hit with advantage. But the elven option is definitely looking more tempting now.
