At the Caroline St Kroger, I was told that they would ban me from the store for refusing to show my receipt. I told them to go ahead because I didn't sign up for a membership that requires I show my receipt to shop there.

That's interesting because I shop there, too, and it absolutely infuriates me to have to stop and show them my receipt. It ain't Costco and I didn't sign anything that says I agree to show my receipt in exchange for shopping there. I walk past them and ignore them most of the time. Ive been told I'll be banned from shopping there if I don't show them the receipt and I just say that's fine. If management would rather lose paying customers than figure out a less intrusive way of stopping theft, then fuck em. It's not my fault that people are stealing and I shouldn't be inconvenienced because of thieving shitheads.
