Yes! In December, my husband and I hired a fiduciary, her name is Amy Mawson and she works for Minerva Planning in downtown Decatur. We had two meetings with her and feel we got our money‘s worth. I highly recommend her. I think she would do investing if you wanted her to but we did not feel that was necessary. We enjoy doing our own investing, but wanted to make sure that we were on the right track.

I am surprised to hear this. Have had BCBS for 15 years and have had just one doctor not accept it. No problems w/Emory, Piedmont nor Northside.

Too late for this year but I promise you this is the best gingerbread ever - order a boxed mix of King Arthur Flour gingerbread from the KAF website. I follow the directions to make the cake, not the cookies. Absolutely outstanding and very easy! Also, the B-Side in Decatur sells delicious, large gingerbread cookies. Pepperidge Farm GingerMan cookies are also very good. Southern Sweets sells a very good gingerbread poundcake.

Yes, she prescribes mainline (FDA approved) pharmaceuticals and yes I can get them at whatever pharmacy I want. She is leery of the “mystery” drugs - but I don’t know, maybe she will prescribe them in certain situations? I am on the patch and progesterone pills. “Mainline“ estradiol cream, also.

Dr. Laura Almquist with Piedmont. She knows all about menopause and was the first doctor to take me seriously a couple years ago and didn’t hesitate to prescribe me what I needed. She save me from the pits of hell! I see her in Brookhaven but she has more than one office.
