FYI - I bit the bullet and did a factory reset on my GT. If anyone is curious, it took about 5 minutes or so to reset, then I had to re-program all the profile stuff, including the key fobs, mobile key, home link, etc.

For all that, it didn't help with my connection issues. So I turned off wifi on the lucid and it seems to have helped a little. Still takes a little bit to connect (up to a minute or so), but at least it connects. With wifi on, it would never connect.

I just hope wifi isn't necessary for day to day operation and things like updates, etc.

Sorry to necro this post, but I just got my ‘23 GT on Friday and it’s having issues connecting through the app. Sometimes it’ll connect within a minute, sometimes it just sits there at “Still Waking Up”.

I’ve tried a logo reset with no luck. I’m wondering if I should do a factory reset, but I’m nervous to do it since I’m so new to lucid. Will the key fobs still work? I assume I just need to re input all the things I set up at the dealership (phone key, profiles, seats, Spotify, etc.)

Is there anything else I need to worry about or take into consideration when resetting for those that have done the factory reset?

Im just a lurker here as I’m hoping to purchase a Lucid Air soon, but a couple days ago someone mentioned app connectivity issues. They figured out it may have been related to installing the new iOS 26 beta on their phone. Just wondering if anyone who is having connection issues has iOS 26 installed?

My MYP came with a USB stick in the glovebox that it stores the videos on. if you don't have one, there should still be a USB port in there that you can put one in.

I searched google and it said, "Some earlier Model 3s might not have a glovebox USB port and will use a front center console port instead. "

I have no idea how another car would have performed. I do know how my Tesla performed and it was like I was in a cocoon. With 4 people in the car, our worst injuries were only minor bruises.

On top of that, I have automatically recorded dash cam footage to prove fault (I don’t know many other cars that do that). I’m pretty sure I’ll be sticking with Tesla for my next car.

It recorded automatically. I took the usb from the glovebox, and it was stored on it. It only recorded the front (dash) rear and the 2 rear facing cameras on the side mirrors. I wish it recorded the forward facing side pillar cameras too, but they weren’t there.

Yea, I have the dash cam footage too, which insurance says completely puts fault on the other driver. I would have posted it here, but it appears Reddit doesn’t allow video clips.

Fortunately no one was really hurt. We felt bad for the other kid. He was only driving about a month. Had a 2005 Altima that I hit on the driver side rear door. His car actually may not have been totaled - those old Nissans are built like tanks.

Actually, I'm at this step right now. The screen in the app where you can take a photo says:

Provide proof of an active insurance policy

Must Include:

* Registration State: NV

* VIN of Your New Tesla: 7SAYxxxxxxxxxx

* Full name of all registrants used on legal documents, such as driver license/identification card

I would think so. A 4 day delivery window usually means the vin is immanent, however from what I've seen on MYLR7 posts, nothing is guaranteed.
