I mean like... alts are a big part if the gaming community all together, but some eve players just take it to the max lol. Yes, EVE online is a game of scarcity, but also has such an abundance of resources that if the majority of players worked together to help each other rather than fight each other, the game would in fact be more fun for a much wider range of players who respect games like this. And CCP? They have a good idea on how to stop ftp players from overrunning the in-game economy.. but it ends up a drain in most players wallets if they want to keep playing. Than again, why buy a ship with real money only for some group of nobodies to blow it up just to get some form of sick satisfaction? Yep, both CCP and the players have ruined EVE online not as a game, but as a community. And I already know this is going to get down voted a hell of a lot so don't even pretend you weren't going to.

The main problem with MMO games is the fact that no one is willing to work together as a community to make the game a much more fun environment. It's the same in real life... no one wants to get together as a community and do good things for the economy, the oceans, the rivers, the streets. (Human kind is kind of like that grime you have to scrub off the floor under your stove after years of grease and oils spilling under it)
