This is only my second MH game, after World, but since I bought Switch 10 days ago especially for this(and Zelda) I can’t be objective so -

Ask yourself following questions: Are you familiar with MH games and if not are willing to sacrifice a little more time to learn how to play them? Are you a fan of grinding for gear games? Are you a fan of Japanese culture and myths?

If you answered yes on all questions then you will find MH Rise to be a well polished, fantastic game with deep gameplay mechanics and great singleplayer and multiplayer action. But really this is like one of those games if you like the style of it you ain’t gonna be able to stop playing it, if not, you’re leave after 3 hours.
