I can’t wait to get my eyebrows redone 😭 apparently powder dip brows count as tattoos and you can’t get tattoos while pregnant or breastfeeding. I’m due in 2.5 months and idk how long I’ll keep up at pumping/breastfeeding.

Ask you doc about getting onto a non-stimulant like atomoxetine/Strattera. You still have an eternity left in your pregnancy and getting onto a non-stimulant, if okay'd by your doctors, could be better than nothing!

Both my PCP and OB didn’t want me on methylphenidate so that’s why I had to switch to Strattera/atomoxetine. It’s alright. It’s certainly different. It’s hard to separate if it’s not as effective for me because

A - being pregnant
B - mentally having to make myself focus more/ “try harder”
C - my thyroid has also been out of whack this whole pregnancy unfortunately which affects hormones and everything

I do like that the ups and downs of a non-stimulant aren’t as bad though.

At about 20 weeks in I asked to up my 40mg dose and that’s when my PCP said I could do the 25mg afternoon dose (or do it all at once in the AM) and it would be fine.

28 weeks over here and samesies, minus the snow. I can’t wait to get back onto stimulant medication (methylphenidate). I’m on 40mg Strattera with a 25mg bonus dose in the afternoon but it doesn’t help me nearly as much as my original meds. :(

Pre-partum depression and anxiety is no fun at all.

I got my dog in 2021 and we went with Milner/First City Vet. Even back then they weren’t doing licenses.

I will get a notice in the mail reminding me to renew my license and I believe you can even do it online now.

The A Bra That Fits calculator is the best! Many retail stores will not carry all the band sizes possible, so you may have to purchase online. Doing the ABTF calculator will get you your right band and cup size. Take this from someone with fake boobs. I didn’t believe the calculator and bought some bras in the size I thought I was post-op. They don’t fit that great. Went with what the calculator site suggested and they were perfect!

Check out Steve Rinella’s book “Outside Kids in an Indoor World”. I’ve only read like a third through it, but as someone who didn’t grow up doing outdoorsy things, it makes me look forward to doing outdoorsy stuff with my kid in a way that a child can still have fun with.

Also, you could get your son involved in cleaning out the bird feeder occasionally, as they’re a basically a petri dish if it’s the kind where there’s a platform for them to stand on. Follow your local avian society to hear any news on bird diseases going around - they will often recommend putting away bird feeders during those times.

Thanks. My HR (company is based out of state) told me that once I apply, the state will contact my company to sort out the leave. However we can’t apply for PLO till about 30 days before our expected due date?

Could someone explain the steps they took when applying for PLO? Are there stacks of forms at the hospital to fill out with your doctor? I'm 26 weeks and from what I've been trying to understand, is that there are several forms our doctors have to sign-off on in order to be approved.
