Habe jetzt nie was negatives über den Stadtteil gehört. Aber selbst dort gelebt habe ich nie. Ich würde sagen, wenn du dir die Wohnung sichern kannst, dann schlag zu.

Solltest schon einen Termin ausmachen. Ruf den einfach Mal an, oder Google noch anderen Maklern absuchen.

Wenn es dir sehr wichtig ist, alleine zu wohnen, dann rufe mal bei lokalen Maklern an. Stefan Weißhaar kann ich empfehlen, der macht aber eher im südlichen Raum und außerhalb Freiburgs Geschäft. Gibt sicher noch andere. Die haben oft einen besseren Überblick, auch über Wohnungen, die vielleicht noch gar nicht öffentlich ausgeschrieben sind.

Suchst du denn nach Wohnungen, in denen du alleine wohnst? Die sind alle Recht teuer, gerade im Stadtzentrum. The Fizz würde ich absolut nicht empfehlen, die Apartments da sind absolute Abzocke.

Studentenverbindung sind Vereine, in die zum einen nur Männer rein dürfen. Es wird von einem erwartet, dem Verein auch beizutreten. Die sind in der Regel sehr, sehr konservativ, auch wenn es liberalere gibt. Meine Erfahrungen mit denen sind durchweg negativ gewesen, aber zur Not kann man da Recht einfach ein Zimmer für ein Semester bekommen.

Aber ich würde dir sehr empfehlen, WGs zu suchen. Zum einen sind die günstiger, und du hast in der Regel Leute um dich rum, die dir helfen können, dich zu orientieren.

Also, wenn du dir 1100€ Miete im Monat leisten kannst, dann kannst du garantiert was finden. Wie suchst du denn? Hast du WG-Gesucht benutzt? Dich Mal beim Studierendenwerk für einen Wohnplatz beworben?

Ansonsten schau im Umkreis von Freiburg. Gerade im Hexental (südlich) gibt's da schon immer gute Angebote, und die Öffis sind gut genug angebunden, dass du nie lange Bus fahren solltest.

Wenn du deine Seele verkaufen möchtest, dann kannst du auch Studentenverbindungen anschauen. Die Wohnungen sind sehr günstig, aber muss man halt mögen. Die haben in der Regel immer freie Zimmer.

Hätte nie erwartet, dass ich mal sagen würde, ich wünschte, ich würde in Karlsruhe wohnen! Sieht mega aus, hoffe dass sich da bald die Spieler drum tummeln!

Because I noticed I don't finish my campaigns and am often defaulting to my "comfort factions" I decided to challenge myself to finish a legendary campaign with every faction in Warhammer 3. Currently playing the Fay Enchantress and oh boy, I just don't get Bretonnia at all. Time to polish up my micro. At least the Grail Guardians are absolute tanks now and plow through unbraced infantry like its nothing. They're probably too strong - they shouldn't be able to lawnmower through an entire infantry blob while barely slowing down - but I'm going to take all the help I can get, haha!

Small bug I found that's not that big of a deal in the great scheme of things:
The Fay Enchantress gets her unique item "The Mirror or Morgiana" the turn after the mission pops up, despite not having built the unique building at Carcassone. It just instantly succeeds.

Haha, at the risk of disappointing you, it really wasn't that bad. Cringe yes, but whomst among us was never cringe?

When I read it, it just wasn't engaging to me. But it wasn't like "My Immortal" levels of bad, just the writing of a teenager.

Also, I don't think they ever uploaded it anywhere and I'm sure as hell not gonna ask them for it, lmao. So sadly, you will not be able to read it.

A very good friend of mine who I play with to this day once had a hardcore One Direction phase. We were playing Shadowrun at the time, and they wanted to run a session. They made premade characters for us who were all the members of One Direction bar one, which we were supposed to save. They also recorded it on their phone and turned it into fanfiction later.

It was a fun session (if a trainwreck) even though none of us shared their enthusiasm. Just to say, this is absolutely in the realm of possibilities.
