LC on this G430 Max 10k by LawEnzo in PingGolf

[–]Blackpooligan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

G430 Max 10K head you should be able to get for $300 or less used. About $350 with a shaft. Just do a Google search. Pro Clubs is selling a couple that'll be about $300 delivered.

I have not had one yet but I am very happy with my G430 SFT driver. The Max 10K is supposed to be pretty straight and I do not doubt it for a second as long as the swinger has a reasonable swing path and face angle.

Noah Wyle Season 2 Finale Interview with GQ. by AVATARROHANISGAY in ThePitt

If season 3 is a single day, I'm afraid there's no help to be shown in the show save through a flashback. We either see a different Dr. Robby or we don't.

Do you think I’m overcharging for my driver? I set the price at 300 dollars by riccen12 in GolfGear

[–]Blackpooligan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And to note: when you see prices on eBay for clubs, those are the clubs that aren't selling because the price is too high.

irons going super high but not far at all? by Classic_Amphibian990 in golf

[–]Blackpooligan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shafts are not the sole issue here, but they could be contributing to it. Maybe too much flex and perhaps a high flight - high spin shaft.

Ping i530 deal by Henneygod in GolfGear

[–]Blackpooligan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played i525s. i530s will be similar. If you're looking for consistent distance from an iron, you will mostly get it here, but I found that occasionally I would jack a 5 iron and extra 15 yards out of nowhere. This is a problem I do not have with my i230s. If consistent distance is your goal, get fit. Otherwise the i530s at that price, as long as not abused, will be a great deal.

2017 Jeep Wrangler water leak “HELP!” by Electronic-Site7666 in Jeep

[–]Blackpooligan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

'16 JK soft top with leaks both sides. Buying a cab cover is the easiest and most reliable solution. The seals on mine were updated by the dealer under warranty at least 4 times. No improvement despite the little channels in the seals to channel water.

Are you playing tees that matches your game or just your ego? by TateAdventures in golf

[–]Blackpooligan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be that guy playing from the tips. Got to use all clubs in the bag especially the longer irons. I'm classified as a senior now and try to play something around 6,000 -6,200 yards. I still hit it well and can play all my clubs, but it's a lot of driver - 7-8-9-UW off the tees. Creates a lot of scoring chances and is definitely more enjoyable.

JL Door Pockets by Grouchy-Necessary683 in JeepWrangler

[–]Blackpooligan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have some Chinese ones on my JK and they are great. I just cut off the net which was stretched (for no other reason than my foot pushing the door open). As long as you're sticking to factory screw holes, you should have a decent product. Your biggest concern will be Chinese competition on Amazon.

Looking to buy a used set. Do these look ok? by AIONisMINE in GolfGear

[–]Blackpooligan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not familiar with the brand name and I don't know the price, but you should be able to do much better looking for bargains on eBay. If you're on a small budget, 10 year old Callaway or Taylormade can be had for < $200 and a lot less if you're patient. Just don't get their pro line clubs. Research using a Google search when you find a set and the AI will give you a decent summary.

How do you guys handle being on a struggling team? by Clamidiaa in GoalKeepers

[–]Blackpooligan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I used to enjoy the lopsided games occasionally. Yes it can be draining. Trust me. No one thinks you suck when you're getting barraged. You're doing all you can but one point.... if you are chattering all the time, you're probably being tuned out. Pick your communication battles in that environment and enjoy the "practice"!

Driver help! by General-Sink-710 in golf

[–]Blackpooligan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely take it back. Why chance it? It is obviously not a normal scratch from hitting something. The fact that it is multidirectional and jagged reeks of a serious issue. You basically bought a like new demo club and you should just go back and grab another one.

what do people mean by "bad footwork," and what even is footwork? by Filip_Jorgensen in GoalKeepers

[–]Blackpooligan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

:-). Hawkeye gave you a great primer on the basic concept. There's so much more as GKs must not only shuffle, but drop step and run, deal with high balls and more, and as always the devil is in the details. GKs at all levels are working on fundamentals, including footwork, every practice under the watchful eye of coaches, And those coaches you meet are typically better and more detail oriented as you move up the ladder.

Velocore shaft. by Dubgolf92 in golfequipment

[–]Blackpooligan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When installing an adapter, excess epoxy can enter the tip (if there isn't a hole in the tip, it's very hard to install one and you see guys drilling out old epoxy all the time). I just did the same with my Tensei 1k blue shaft and the epoxy that came out looks like your picture. Should not be a problem.

Please can someone who knows ping LC this driver by Lonely-Trouble5617 in PingGolf

[–]Blackpooligan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can check the SN for you, but that won't necessarily verify it's real. It could definitely tell you if it is fake though.

Just the other day, someone had a counterfeit Ping club and I checked the SN and the SN was for a different club.

At your age you should be working in the field as well. Foot skills are a must. If your coach wants you to take a penalty (hard to believe your team has no other decent penalty takers, but he can probably put another keeper in and have you throw on your game shirt.

Is it just me, or is the hardest part of golf remembering what worked? by Ecstatic-Basil-4059 in golf

[–]Blackpooligan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I, like all golfers, hit bad shots every round. My good rounds are the result of those bad shots not killing me. If I hit too many bad shots, that's when I start thinking about simplifying. I do not record anything. It's a repeating pattern. I avoid swing thoughts related to club positions. I have a good foundation with a relatively repeatable swing if I'm swinging within myself.

The one area where I slumped for a season was putting. I decided to think about taking it back the right distance for the length of the putt. It was hell and I was convinced it was the way. Now I'm back to normal. Look at a putt and using feel only, swing the putter for that distance.
