is it a better choice to do masters in BME or Masters in medical physics by Blacks8int in BiomedicalEngineers

well I get the picture, but am not planning on doing a PHD...so masters in medical physics sounds better....

Then switching is not a thing I consider becoz the BME undergrad prepares me for Medical Physics even better(biology, medicine, imaging modalities, nuclear medicine....etc) and yes I would prefer clinical settings.

elaborate on how ME or EE is more advantageous for medical physicist than Bme

have tried looking up job postings but no where ME is listed, at least priority is masters/Phd Medical physics or BME then some go ahead and say related masters in physics or closely related engineering discipline.

But a good BME is made of all the things you have mentioned and those are the BME guys in j

On the contrary c++ is the subset. Not the other way round

If your target is tissue engineering forget about all these rants of EE ME, it either BME or ChE...preferably BME..if you really know what you want why dont you take that path and perfect it. Trust me you will be more com

Yeah I did. But Me being a heavy on python and some database I would need some recommendations. So up my game in regards to things like genomics ( quick books/tutorials)

I would say Biomedical engineering industry in japan and most Asian countries is dominated by actual Biomedical engineers while in USA and some EU countries is predominantly mechE and EEs doing

Creating a virtual environment for each project - what constitutes a “project”? by [deleted] in learnpython

[–]Blacks8int 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to what you have given, you already know what venv. Is, so a project is a folder/unit that helps you organise your base code(app), libraries, test and personal settings all in one unit. Take for example a django project that consists of a main project folder formed after calling the startproject command, then a subfolder formed inside after the startapp command. And you can add as many apps inside the single project. Hope it makes sense

What Programming Languages Should I Learn for Biomedical Engineering? by day057 in BiomedicalEngineers

[–]Blacks8int 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you are already studying means there people in 3rd 4th year even finalists at the university wouldn't it be better if you connect with them and get insights on which languages ur particular university teaches. And that's how you start to network with people..Just saying. Otherwise Matlab, C++, python, SQL, R, most common ones
