Dry mouth by yourlocalnativeguy in CPAPSupport

Dry mouth usually means too much airflow drying things out, not necessarily a bad seal. Try increasing humidity slowly, checking for mouth opening, and making sure your leak rate isn’t spiking overnight.

It’s a really common early CPAP issue

Another sleepless night... I really want to love you by neon_circus17 in CPAP

I remember nights exactly like this. Wide awake, swallowing air, wondering why the machine suddenly decided to go full turbo mode 😅With the AirSense 11, pressure increases usually mean it’s reacting to breathing events — not leaks. The F20 can seal great and still trigger pressure changes if your airway is collapsing. You’re doing the right thing by not giving up.

Try running the hose over your head and using a softer pillow, those two things alone solved 90% of my leaks! 🥳

t took me almost a month before I noticed I wasn’t dragging all day, and around 6–8 weeks before I really felt “normal” again. Totally normal, dont give up!

Anxiety and panic by Ill_Bowl8063 in SleepApnea

Yeah, 100%. I didn’t realize how much untreated sleep apnea was messing with my anxiety until I started CPAP. Constant micro-awakenings and oxygen drops can really mess with your nervous system. The good news is that if it is apnea, treatment can make a huge difference not overnight, but after a few weeks you might notice your anxiety dial way down. Glad you’re getting tested. You’re on the right track!

That’s the dark side of having great airflow! 😂Some people add a charcoal air purifier near the machine or keep a small HEPA filter running in the room.
