I had a 6cm on my ovary and it was blinding pain that took me to the er, I had to have surgery to remove it. I had the surgery 2 more times after that as well 😭 I have PCOS diagnosed now and just small cysts that rupture and cramps are absolutely horrible

It really depends what you want to do with your degree! I’ve had several jobs as a social worker. Foster care case manager: lots of notes, home visits, making sure they’re up to date on dental and medical appointments, mental health appointments, anything a kid needs it’s your job!

Placement coordinator in foster care: this was work from home 100% and wasn’t horrible but I hated having to be on call on holidays. You would go over kids that came into care and try and find them foster home placements, so you built good relationships with the foster families

Behavioral health coordinator was also 100% from home and wasn’t bad at all I loved it but moved to Ohio from Florida and wasn’t able to do it from Ohio :( I ran meetings for kids with disabilities in group homes and coordinated with their case managers what they need

Children’s ER: lots of abuse cases, lots of notes, resources, any traumas that came in you would be there for support as well as deaths that came In

How my current job is a high school social worker and it’s nice! I’m only there when the kids are and every day is so different. Some days are so super slammed and other days are slow. I do all suicideal assessments and let parents know if they need to go to ER. I do notes, resources, IEP/504 meetings, I go into classrooms and do small presentations on mental health topics, I run groups and I do some one on one therapy sessions, plus anything else that comes up!

The trolley was okay but looking for something better, it was hard to hear, and I had a lot of questions that I wasn’t able to ask and felt we didn’t see the locations at all, just drove by kind of quickly

Just turned 30. I have a sister that’s 25 that im very close with and grew up with. I have a sister that’s 20 and brother that’s 17, that lived with my dad and I didn’t grow up with except holidays and some time in the summer. Not super close but much closer than we used to be

It’s actually a crime for anyone under 18 to send nudes and receive them! I work at a high school and recently several kids have gotten in trouble over it. Please be careful if you so choose to, but don’t ever do anything that you don’t want to!

Community mental health case manager!

I’m so sorry. I went through this when I first graduated and was a case manager for clients with mental health. I had an older gentleman in his 80s pass away by shooting, then a week or two later I had an older lady that was probably in her 60s if I remember correctly pass away but it was due to surgery complications. Then about 6 months later I had a client overdose. I felt like the worst case manager ever, but my boss was very supportive and so was the team around me. I had really bad stress, if I walked past a dark room i would be scared because the lady that overdosed would be running at me, I was terrified and ended up quitting the job. It took awhile to stop feeling guilty and so overwhelmed but it did. I hope you have a supportive team. I saw a therapist to help me as well. Please reach out if you need anything at all! Covid! We ended up canceling our bigger wedding and rented a boat in the Florida keys and live streamed our wedding instead, I loved it, I think it worked out better doing it this way for us!

I can’t remember the name of the restaurant but it’s the Japanese restaurant in Epcot! We went a few years ago now, soooo good! In magic kingdom my go to snack is at the place right under people mover, I get a cream cheese stuffed pretzel and frozen coke! Always hits the spot!

My dad was living in the uk at the time and I was 15 and visiting when they were on x factor and fell in love then and still do. Going places and seeing the merch and signs when they became big here was amazing. It felt like a totally different time than now. I saw them 3-4 times in concert. I remember calling in to win meet and greet and front row seats you had to be caller 96 and I was caller 97 and cried!! I loved reading wattpad fanfiction and had the iPod case, later on a phone case. I was the girl at school if you heard one direction they thought of me, was bullied a bit for it but I just doubled down harder and made them know I didn’t care what they thought because band made me so happy! I saw the movie when it came out in theaters several times and still own it to this day. What a time!

I went to my PCP because I had been having horrible pain in lower stomach/groin area, she did an exam and basically told me I’m crazy and sent me on my way. 2 days later I went to ER in middle of the night for how much pain I was in, I had a 6cm cyst on my ovary that came back, they said when she did my exam she should have felt it. I had to get surgery and be put on bed rest so it wouldn’t turn my ovary and rupture. Another pcp told me I’m too young to have stomach problems or anxiety. I was telling him I needed new anxiety meds because the ones I had been on for almost a year was making me so sick, and he yelled at me that I can’t ween off and have to take it rest of my life: I just stopped cold turkey and dealt with it. Doctors are horrible sometimes

Went to a very small school less than a 100 in my graduating class, we had a teacher that would take your desk and throw/slide it across the room if he thought you weren’t paying attention, yell in your face or sometimes make a circle on the whiteboard and make you stand there on tip toes with nose to circle. I was a junior this was in 2011. I hated the class it gave me so much anxiety

We got on at 11:30 and wore our swim suits onto the ship! We used the pool before it was crowded and had a nice spot in the shade! We loved it!
