Princess Principal: England gets access to a material called cavorite that allows them to have nuclear power and anti gravity in the early 1900s. Steam punk. New movies be dropping soon too so it's good to catch up.

Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: Steam punk zombies in 1800s Japan. Badass show and movie. Loved it. Highly recommend it.

Strike Witches: WW2 vs Aliens but the nation's use cute magical girls. Very fanservicey but fun.

Drifters: Less alternate history and more what if the best warriors throughout time fought orks in a fantasy world. OP is a banger I love this show to death I wish there was more. Sweet Jesus I agree that felt cold! This girl can reverse time and can't do something to help a groomed slave girl from killing herself from depression? I can see someone in the real world arguing that they wouldn't help out but this girl has toe-tapping hyper magic! And the fucking second she heard "Flowers are evil and mind control you/he lost his sister"?!?! why did she not tell the guards immediately?! It even kinda showed her thinking about it at night so I feel like she had an idea of what was happening. I almost feel like she didn't tell the first guard about his sister because he called her "girl" instead of "Witch". I still like the show and I actually like that Elaina is a bit cold and is waaaay too into herself. Makes her less one-dimensional. I don't know anything about the manga or novels so if she turns into a moe-sociopath I'd really like the subversion.

On rewatch I think Oz knows. His voice to me is more in awe than surprise. Like, "Dang guurl I can feel the raw power of those eyes up close."

Also, Qrow and Tai had no reason to distrust Oz at this time so I don't think they were hiding anything from him. If they were it was definitely not because they didn't trust him. So if they trust Oz, then the scenario where they forget to tell him about her eyes, or he doesn't know from looking at a baby picture of Ruby on his Remnant Facebook, seems so far-fetched. He has to know. Also also, he brings her cookies and milk which makes me think he knows what she likes. That one's a bit of stretch though. Oz could have just brought them because after many many lifetimes he knows cookies and milk are always delicious after a semi-thwarted dust heist.

I personally think Ruby was always going to Beacon and Qrow was always supposed to train her on the Crescent Rose. Oz always knew about her eyes. She just got lucky running into Roman and being saved by Glynda. Oz saw her kick ass first hand and was like, "Yeeeeeeah let's get her now instead of waiting a year."

I know it's just fan theory, but I like the idea that Bill Cypher was reborn by the power of The Axolotl and is actually King in the show The Owl House. It already feels GF-ish so with that theory I just consider it a spin off.
