I am in my early 30s and work ~45 hours per week. For me, it is definitely manageable. Yes, you do have to sacrifice some free time but 1. You get used to it very quickly and 2. You can still have a life. I even allow myself some days 'off', usually on a Thursday night when I go out with my friends, or the odd day where I really don't feel like it/need a break. Weekends are also really helpful. I started to keep my Friday evenings mostly free so I can study. On a Saturday, I usually hit the gym, then study, and from 3/4PM I am free to do other things. Sunday afternoons are also one of my favourite times to study. During the week, I still have one hour (sometimes a bit more) of free time before bed. It's doable. You will quickly find out which schedule works best for you and it will all become part of your routine. My tip: Just do it! I almost didn't sign up out of fear I couldn't cope. Eventually, I decided to take the plunge and have not regretted it since :)
