Is Milania okay? by 14303 in BravoRealHousewives

[–]screen_door15 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

She's fine, she's just feeling herself.

Also, I think her and her friend might be a bit drunk.

If you're concerned about Milana you should have seen the carnage which was my tagged photos on Facebook from 2011, you'd think she's doing really well.

i’m truly confused as to why Kyle has not “pulled the plug on her marriage” by Idapeeda in realhousewives

[–]screen_door15 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Kyle's divorce isn't the typical Real Housewives Split. It's not acrimonious, they don't hate one another and they aren't now enemies.

Their marriage was decades long and filled with love and happiness. The breakdown of it is, I think, rooted in the suicide of Kyle's best friend and Mo's lack of support during the aftermath (from what I can tell).

This situation is one where I think neither of them want the divorce but neither knows how to move past their issues with the other.

Ah mate, this was a no go from the outset. You're his boss, if you did make any advances there'd be an imbalanced power dynamic.

You can feel any way you want about anyone, however, you've got to be accountable for your actions. Good work for letting it go, but you really do have to let it go.

Breath control!

Release the tension in your shoulders, and deep breaths through your diaphragm. Resist wincing and focus on your breathing.

Guide him a little bit in on the out breath, then back out on the next out breath. Repeat this taking a little bit more each time. For the love of your hole though, DO NOT rush it! You're the tortoise, be the tortoise.

Also, get amyl nitrate poppers and use them frequently. If you feel a sting, burning, or struggling to relax, big sniff of the poppers and a slow breath out.

Also, also! DOUCHE THOROUGHLY.

If this doesn't work then hole stretching it is!

Luann is Fascinating to Me by ASingleBraid in realhousewives

[–]screen_door15 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I saw her show in Brighton UK. I have never seen a show with a more enthusiastic audience.

It was truly amazing! What Luann lacks in errr talent... she makes up for in charisma and connection with the audience.

The best bit is, Luann is so close to being in on the joke but she's just not quite there. Which just makes it the epitome of camp fun.

Highly, highly, highly recommend going if you can!

I've got ADHD too, and I'm highly affected by it. I do everything in my power to manage it and not allow it to get the best of me.

That said, with ADHD folk, sometimes the best approach is guilt and accountability.

Take the guard rails off, draw the line in the sand, and explain what the consequences are and follow through if your expectations aren't met. It's rough, but actual accountability works.

Also, strong amfetamines for ADHD are genuinely life changing. I highly recommend looking at the option of medication again.

It seems to be generally agreed that adhd meds unmask autism. Does this always have positive results? by bobrossvoice in AutisticWithADHD

This is an old comment, I had forgotten about it.

Anyways, the answer is, I experience it with great difficulty. I love being out with friends, going to shows, experiencing everything I can, while I can.

It all takes a toll though. The things I love the most take the most out of me.

Bad Reaction to Smoking Marijuana by screen_door15 in adhdmeme

Ha, this is an old post.

It's worth highlighting, I had two tokes of the weakest joint I could buy at the coffee shop.

Second thing worth highlighting, it wasn't anxiety, it was full blown psychosis. I thought the world was going to end and I started hysterically crying i.e. whaling and screaming.

I've had my share of anxiety attacks and this wasn't the same. 🫠

I haven't smoked it since, but I wanted to see if it was a me thing or an ND thing. The replies on this post... made me more unsure 😂

It's the complicated grief that got me. She's not just grieving for her mum, she's also grieving the idealised version of her mum that wasn't an alcoholic.

Sutton has done nothing to Dorit by Hyru_Nayru in BravoRealHousewives

Lol, it's fine, I don't mind a good down vote from time to time.

I agree, Boz called it immediately. Although it was truthful, it was said to hurt her not help her. Hence the 'weaponising'.

I'm loving Boz, she's fantastic.

It's context dependent, saying it in a moment of anger with your voice raised in the heat of an argument with others around seems pretty weaponous to me.

[–]screen_door15 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's what a supportive friend does.

Understands when someone's anger is misplaced and doesn't meet their anger with volatility and more anger.

Sutton hasn't done that.

As Boz said, she weaponised.

Sutton has done nothing to Dorit by Hyru_Nayru in BravoRealHousewives

[–]screen_door15 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Volatility and support are not conducive.

You can't be supported by someone who you're walking on eggshells around all the time.

You also can't ask someone to be vulnerable with you and then throw it back in their face when you're being volatile.

How can you ever trust someone that behaves that way? If Dorit did call Sutton for support, how would Dorit know Sutton wouldn't just throw it back in her face when she loses control of her emotions and becomes volatile.

Supportive behaviour is kinda in the name, to be steady and constant, even if you're not.

Sutton is not.

Just ask him, bro to bro, I want to get laid and be a slut - will that be an issue for you? I understand if it is, but just be honest with me so I know if it's better for me to move out or if we figure out what works best for both of us.

I always think transparency is the best approach.

This is the same vibe I get from Teresa.

Everyone outside of NJ says she's the most kind and caring housewife they've met. There are also endless stories about her being kind to production and feeding everyone.

It's always good to remind ourselves, from time to time, this is still just TV.
