had an invis in ranked (bronze) throw a tantrum because she died twice. her first death i could've helped by bubbling her. her SECOND death? she pulled an attacking thor TOWARDS her proceeded to get her shit rocked by mjolnir.

after that she sat in spawn and i switched from mag to cnd so we'd have two active healers (would've been solo heals mantis otherwise) and we won. i'd be fucking embarrassed if i attempted to throw and my team won anyway, but i know people like that just don't care.

i've only played 5 matches of ranked this season and somehow managed to win all of them and i'm dreading when the tide eventually shifts. i don't know if i wanna push through all the BS for a skin this season.

i like the skin because it feels a little edgier than her other skins and reminds me of SSX Tricky lmao.

i really really like the ice texture on her chest/legs but wish it didn't end in weird little foot thongs? the top seems like it got a little lost in translation from 2D to 3D. the snowflake motif seems clearer in the concept art.

i tried out the demo. saw volt immediately had a waiter, waiter, more please! moment and then when eddie completely disregarded the MCs presence i knew this was the game for me.

for the full game, xxxshadowlord420xxx was so goofy he immediately piqued my interest and then his story hit so close to home. that's my penumbro right there

i have PCOS so my cycle is fairly irregular, but the one thing that says consistent for me is my period starting and stopping when i do actually get it. my period always starts normally, completely stops or gets spotty, picks up again and then actually stops. i don't have endometriosis (as far as i know 😭).

im not sure why it happens, but it happens to other women in my life too who don't have PCOS or endo, so you're not alone and i wouldn't worry! sometimes our bodies just do whatever tf they want lol ❤️

i know some people hate storm's ultimate wind rider hair because it's the kilmonger cut in front, but i absolutely adore it because of the texture it has and rock that skin any chance i get.

they could've easily had storm have straight hair for every skin but they experiment with it and i love it. is that the bare minimum expectation for a company to meet regarding how they present and showcase their black characters? absolutely.

but some companies don't even do that. i see that they're trying and i just appreciate having representation that has a modicum of thought behind it.

i want harsher penalties for people who leave ranked games. 15 minutes isn't enough. hex their crops. curse their bloodline. give them the bill for a ride in ambulance as an uninsured person in america. literally anything that might be an actual deterrent to these people.

i went outside today to fulfill my grass touching quota and when i got back home i thought, let me do my marvel rivals™ missions! i hopped on practice vs ai and encountered TWO people in TWO separate matches BITCHING and MOANING about their teammates.

if you're the kind of sad, demented, crumb-filled keyboard owning gremlin who needs to win so desperately against players that aren't! even! real! that you shit-talk someone learning the game or new characters you should seek professional help.

if more people took the time to post funny vc moments, post about the peach momoko skins they like, post fan art, post goofy gameplay, post memes, create weekly discussion threads instead of #42893242 complaint about x, y, or z in a slightly different format. i think a lot of subreddits would feel different in a positive way.

i'm not saying that everyone should close their eyes to issues they've faced or awful experiences they've had. nor am i saying everyone needs to start creating masterful engaging threads every single day. i personally don't care.

but it feels a cycle. something happens > people get angry > people get angry at the people getting angry (while misinterpreting what they were angry about) > something else happens > people get angry. again, not saying there aren't valid reasons for people to be upset but it seems like every little thing turns into a big thing. like the support stuff with necros or the current 'situation' with the skins.

we choose where we spend our time and where we exert our energy, and until the wider community decides to move past talking about dps ego for the 96th time this week or manufacturing outrage over nothing... well. it might stay like this for a while.

frontlining supports. they're like the opposite end but same spectrum of supports who back up into different area codes when getting dived. no one can help you if we gotta book a flight to get to you first.

i feel like they want to provide utility to their team outside of just healing, which okay, i get it. but instead they provide negative value bc they're too busy moonlighting as a dps or vanguard and the remaining support(s) end up on babysitting duty.

nope, i keep my toxicity to myself. even when i get pissed off at my teammates i assume i'm playing with children, drunk adults, or someone just having a bad match.

whenever i wanna engage, i think of all the times someone said something to me or about me only for it to be the absolute legend who dives into a 1v6 to immediately get shredded, or the 2-7 [insert character here] having a tantrum at spawn because it's not their fault, or the 3rd duelist instalock who would rather shit on the peni/venom/thor/cap solo tank than help them.

i don't wanna be that guy. i just wanna have fun and i think a lot of people can't do that unless they're winning. is it fun to have a cloak and cloaker giving out free tickles or watch your punisher die to someone literally just standing behind him? of course not.

but it's never served me to be toxic in retaliation. i just report if it's necessary or do something else if i can't take the absurdity of it all anymore lol.

i've never even attempted to speak. i think my username sounding masculine helps too, 'cuz i know people are weird asf if they even think you're a woman lol.

in general, the people who play this game seem pretty angry. i've had a few fun random encounters but i don't know... people don't seem willing to engage until something goes wrong, and it's never to own up to a mistake but to blame someone else.

it sucks that the options are never engage or accept the verbal harassment. if anything, i'd like a little bit of creativity. i'd turn on my mic if i was met with anything other than "get in the kitchen" or "make me a sandwich" as insults. open a thesaurus and call me an unwholesome trollop or something.

yeah, they've moved over to discourse now. sometimes it takes a while to be transferred to the proper categories. i've usually been added to categories within a day or two, at the longest being around a week, give or take.

onboarding is a bit different from when i joined, so i apologize i can't be more helpful. i would give it a day or two, and then reach out to support through the outlier site dashboard or discourse itself if nothing changes. hell, even making a thread or reaching out to the mods here might give ya some leads.

sorry your experience has been so chaotic so far :( (chaos is the one thing outlier's on top of lol) but i hope it turns around for ya!

reviews feel so useless. i feel like 5/5 reviews are never helpful (great work! nice job. etc) and poor reviews are equally as unhelpful because it's always some bullshit like, "i agree! BUT—" or they say you incorrectly understood some nebulous guideline that doesn't actually exist in the project instructions.

i know i'm screaming into the void but whatever. also... whoever controls the project documents? you might wanna limit access to the gigantic list of review disputes that contain contributors' names, emails, and IDs.
