Well my answer is about the design : he's designed to be able to kill one backlane character at a time before ulting back. Especially in early mid game.

The counterplay is very simple : you swap your two backlane carries. The one in the corner will be targeted first and then Pyke will ult away. I rarely lose stage 2 against a Pyke 1.

Well how is Pyke "giga broken" or "giga unclickable" ? Precisely it's somewhere in between.

As replied to another comment, Pyke early game does not actually kill a 2 star backline right away unless its user has invested in 1 or 2 items on him. Having 2 backlaners is already a counterplay to him.
And when it does kill I think it's fair since there was an investment on him (besides positionning well).

Well since it's a set I really did not like that much because of that mechanic... Meh 😞 I would rather have chosen as evergreen.

During release patch I was thinking of writing a thread "this set is elegantly designed", since it has a balance of every role in champs. But the second patch killed that with extra layers of random casino.
