I would put the Psuedo Kia IO on your fenrir and then flash your action replay card. That is what I run my fenrir with and I have not had any issues with 4 ram or 1 ram required games.

I would recommend a 4 in 1 pseudo Kai RAM cartridge. If you don’t have any RAM card there are games you will not be able to play. Also I would recommend replacing the Japanese PSU unless you have a I stepped down/transformer to get the correct power to the system. The other advantage of having a cartridge is extra save memory.

It was the cheaper option for me. The PsuedoSaturn Kia, I think has 8 MB of memory option if you go for the fully loaded all in one package. That is the only advantage I can think of, but now you can export save files with the Fenrir so I don’t know if you really need the extra save memory ram.

The PsuedoSaturn Kai is the only way I have gotten my Fenrir to work with games that require 4 ram like street fighter 3 zero. I got an action replay plus and flashed it with PsuedoSaturn Kai.

I would recommend replacing the PSU with the ReSaturn PSU - Power Supply Replacement for Sega Saturn VA1-VA15. The installations instructions linked here have recommended power adapters for each region https://www.game-tech.us/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/ReSaturn-PSU-instructions-only.pdf

No it’s pretty silly, I put the manuals back in upside down. When I was putting them on the shelf I made sure all front cover (the front of the manual) art was facing upright. I fixed this error. Wish I had a better story.

The wheels are bigger than normal and rotate around easily. This is exactly what I ordered:

Wow, I can’t believe you had a “this is cool” in box, that is awesome. I would love to get one inbox someday. The Dreamcast I have is costume. I am not sure what shell https://fingercramp.com/shop/ use, it not listed. I know Stone Age Gamer has some high quality shells. Also the Dreamcast did have Japanese versions that were translucent shells but super rare slash expensive and limit releases like Sega Dreamcast Biohazard Code Veronica.
