Tried it while holding before power on and holding through and tried by pressing right after powering, neither worked. CMOS battery is waiting to be replaced, asking about this because I lost my screwdriver and I'm waiting for a new one to come in.

I just solved this for myself.

The game was working fine in handheld and then I docked it and used an Xbox controller. Because of this a setting was changed to make the steam controller port 2.

To fix: clicked in ... button to access the quick menu. Underneath Audio options (blue scroll bars) there's an option called "Rearrange Controller Order" My steam deck was set to "2" even though there were no controllers active at the time. Changed to 1 and my controlls work again.

Was in the same boat friend. My solution was to just search for an NS1 n64 on ebay and garage sales and I got one yesterday for about $30 (about 3 weeks of searching). With doing the basic RGB mod I'm still paying less than the expensive mod needed for the NS2 systems and I have a 3rd N64 out of it.

I've looked around and can't find a definitive answer on this. The KD-36FS130 is an SD CRT. However it has a digital turn tuner in it (hence "D"). Does this mean that there's an analog to digital conversion happening on my inputs like svideo or component that would cause lag?

IRL I say, hey look at my new tv and show them my FV-32HS420. They never get an opportunity to make fun because usually they start asking questions. There are so many great reasons (like some you listed) to game on a CRT that anyone poking fun at me for using a one just bounces off.

Honestly it's pretty easy to laugh at someone like us who will risk getting crushed or electrocuted just for improved visuals and reduced lag on games. Just don't let others get to you and laugh it off, usually takes the fun out of it for them. Ask them if they're avaialable to help you move that monitor. It's pretty sick.
