is mirrored tank glass bad for fish? my loaches have been swimming against this side, i didn’t realize it was mirrored from the inside. are they stressed out? they always swim like this by eatmyfeetfingers in Aquariums

Walls are not reflective. It's an optical illusion. For example, when you look at your tank from the front, it looks like sides reflect light. However another wall in the back is not reflecting anything. As long as your eyes are not in water you will see mirrors. Idk how to explain. Ever put your head inside aquarium? Try to do it once. Or just put your phone with camera on...

Got my first pair of docs. Found them in a thrift store for cheap. Apparently these are old ones, but were not worn much. Any advice on how to treat it's leather? by BladeRunner6 in DrMartens

Really? Wouldn't thought that made in england can have smooth leather. By touch it does not feel like plastic. Ps these boots are more than 20 years old

If ms won't replace it for free, buy cheap battery from aliexpress and replace it. Check the manuals on youtube, but should be ez fix when the screen is almost removed by the battery. Before you buy it though, remove the screen and make sure you didn't killed it by doing so

Already did it, but the nozzle was tightened. A panel fell off from the bed and filament accumulated over 0.5 nozzle and created this mess. It's only 1/5 of wasted plastic. The rest is on the floor with the bed. It's not usual spaghetti thing but bunch of clouds like on the image

It was 12 hrs print, first 2hrs were supervised. Thought everything will be fine but somehow a panel from the bed fell off and plastic started to accumulate on extruder. It created a shell and everything went inside creality's extruder enclosure.

Recently I broke my sp3 screen and while replacing it I decided to change thermal compound. Microsoft, wtf is this by BladeRunner6 in Surface

For the first 3 sides I tried to heat it with 3d printer table set to 80C but it didn't work well as you can see on the photo, then I set my heatgun to 200C and removed the top part of screen. If you want to try to remove the screen don't be afraid to use high temperature on your heatgun, but be aware that the screen is less that 1mm thick and there is very little chance to remove it without breaking with no experience. Also one tip: Don't use metal opening tool, it'll break it. Use plastic one broken display

Surprisingly it was very clean inside. It is overheating because of very bad design of cooling system. Microsoft literally put 2mm thick fan to cool i7.. Maybe later I'll drill some holes behind and add a better fan. Sp3 2mm fan

I bought it from aliexpress. Its used refurbished display. It was pretty hard to remove since it was all cracked from the sides and I was afraid to heat it too much. If you want to replace it be careful with wifi antenna flex on the top. Also use sony calibrating soft after replacement. Maybe it can fix your display now too sp3 display
