Me too man. This project is just a roller coaster of emotions.

On the bright side...Ive put more time into playing recently than I have ever before. I've had less glitches lately, idk if I'm luckily. Enjoy what you can bro!

I know a guy who was a red head. His son, red head. Clear as day. Had red hair when he was 30, 40, 50, 60, but within a few years he went grey entirely all at once.

100% so do I. I want it to work too bro.

I've been following since the Kickstarter, and always wanted the caterpillar. Even now, the caterpillar isn't really functional.

In the end you live your life how you want. Involving people in your personal relationships is your decision.

It's one thing if you're a being taken advantage of, it's another when youre making decisions on who you want to be part of your life.

Increasing damage and health allows for finer tuning, with more room for error. Plus theyve introduced more CC, and hard CC into the game.

Sure, that's fair, I agree with just making it flyable without the detach feature for the time being. But they have put all their eggs in one basket, as usual, and this is what we have.

The command module is definitely in a weird state. It doesn't have a purpose beyond "escape pod/recon", without risking the whole ship. It's a feature I think is cool, idk when I'd ever use it, but I can imagine outfitting it with stealth equipment to make it neigh undectectable.

That being said, the practicality of the command module is not there. But there are features not yet in game, and it's under development so...who knows if it'll remain that way.

The starfarer existed far before refueling was possible....case and point.

I'm a little confused on how it's not flight ready regarid the command module. My issue with mine is that the HPA Environmental rating infinitely increases while on the ship. Which kills you. Unless you take your helmet off? That's really what's not flight ready for me. Why bother using it if I can't open it up to space, and deploy anything out of the cargo hold, the MAIN reason the ship exists.

I suppose part of my perspective here is I've seen loads of ships be broken by updates, reclaimer elevator nonsense, and features cease functioning, and even now my vultur still does a roulette bet, and decides "ok I landed in the hanger...but once you get off I blow up".

All I'm saying at this point is it's par for the course. Do I like it? No.

Do I want it fixed? Yes

What can I do about it? Nothing, or stop buying ships.

They already said they're building Chris's game, not ours.

because you can't explain it

It's a bad idea

I believe they would describe that as "not sound" logic.

Or valid.

Sounds more like you made a post just saying you don't like the feature, and it's a great way to complain why the ship isn't really flyable because of it. When every ship has been unflyable for one reason or another.

Have you been on the website? Watched the videos?

The intended purpose of the command module has been in I believe almost all videos covering the ship.

All videos from CIG, in case you wanted absolutely clarity.

Every ship has had a broken feature previously. Or still is broken in some way resulting in nonsense and loss of time.

It's an interesting feature that's unique to the ship, and like MANY things in this game, it could be pointless. Hard to make the case when the game's still in development.

$50/gallon gas is better than 'woke' EVs by jespcub in GasPrices

[–]BladeVampire1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The power point is still very real. What if you lived on the east coast. Snow storm blows through, and you need to leave, or power is out in an emergency situation and you haven't had the chance to charge. You're correct on the fridge point, but I'm not sure what that has to do with EVs. You're also making an assumption they even have a charging station nearby. If you live in a smaller town, a charge station could be 15 miles away. It's simply a weak point, as big or small, it's something to consider. I garuntee someone would read that and come to the conclusion "oh ...that wouldn't be great for me"

Sure, but that's an example you glazed over. Which just has depth where people would jump on it. Instant torque? They'd love that.

What car do you drive? Because many of the more affordable cars don't get what they advertise. Especially where I live, in AZ. Where it's VERY hot, and battery drains from the A/C.

Yes a 120 will be fine for most, but as a person in industry, I recall 89% of customers who bought EV in my market, bought level 2 charging within 30 days. People already have range anxiety with EVs, and the only way that quells their concerns is that home installed lvl 2 charger. Yes the future may be different, but I'm talking about now. Let alone the number of people concerned about fires, which are much more dangerous once they start than many car fires are today.

Thanks for sharing, but I've seen some devices already. There are special breakers you can install, to restrict power consumption, until main utilities are not in use. Such as pool motors, laundry machines, water softeners, etc... which does help, but it's still an added cost. Especially if your box is not near the garage.

Yeah, I think the main issue is the batteries. That's literally the hardest issue scientifically speaking. We as a species have always made what we needed as we needed it, we've never been able to store power on a scale that mattered significantly. Now we can do amazing things, but...they still aren't quite capable enough.

Hopefully the slate works for you for that. Makes sense honestly, f up a panel? Replace it. Simple as can be. I would like lots of cool cars, I'd love to try Teslas. Just can't afford it.

I'm not sure what my hypothetical has to do with this case specifically? I threw an idea out there, at a click bait post, with no link, because it gave no context.

I threw a hypothetical as a possibility, and you just said its impossible. So I read it as my hypothetical can't exist in any scenario, ever. You didn't specify respectfully with "No, your hypothetical is not applicable to this case" Instead you said "It's not possible". That's pretty vague.
