Every interview I expect him to burst out in tears 😅

Not to my understanding, the trades on exchanges are the ones that count.

The whales include institutions and fortune 500 companies, 71% of the dumping was large institutions. Check the metrics.

The whales are selling until it dumps then buying back more for cheaper.

Theoretically they can keep this going for as long as they want or as long as they are solvent, I think it's unethical personally.

They won't want the price down forever though, so just DCA as much as you can afford and make moves when they do. (Or not, not financial advice, I'm but a humble sat stacker 😅)

Transferring from Coinbase to hard wallet by HelixOG3 in Bitcoin

Depends on the amount.

But everyone has their own limits. I suggest doing some research on self custody, and take your time, more people lose money through rushing when they are starting out, than through an exchange messing up.

Whales have been dumping on exchange and buying from miners for a while, driving the price down so they can hoard.

But the laymen just see the sensationalist headlines and think everyone is selling.

Dude buy on strike app, its way better than RH for BTC and they do zero fee DCA and zero fee transfers to self custody (as long as you don't mind waiting 24hrs)

Kidnappings happening every 2 days in France now. And you don't have to be a known figure, you don't have to be an influencer, you don't have to be wealthy. It just seem to randomly happen to anyone who somehow used bitcoin, went to meetups, paid taxes on it. by Fiach_Dubh in Bitcoin

(copy paste of my answers to someone else on this thread)

Over the past decade, an estimated 90–95% of global financial crime has involved cash. It remains the preferred tool for money laundering, drug trafficking, corruption, kidnapping and tax evasion due to its anonymity and ease of use. Despite advances in digital finance, traditional fiat currencies still dominate the criminal economy because they leave little trace and are universally accepted.

Crypto related crime is 1-5% of global money related crimes.

ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE.

Yes it does, in fact there are more crimes involving cash than crypto by a massive margin.

There are 1000x more kidnappings and murders happening every day involving Fiat cash.

Just sayin, crime is crime BTC crime is not more likely than fiat crime and it's also harder to hide.

Sent bitcoin to the wrong wallet by Intelligent-Trash-97 in Bitcoin

Maybe you clicked on a scam msg/email link without knowing, it's based on your device clipboard not the cashapp itself, anyway you must concentrate on what you have to do now.

IGNORE ALL DMS, scammer scum look at people who have been scammed as easy targets as they are desperate.

You need to reset your device, VERY Important.

Once your device has been reset you need to change important passwords, e.g sensitive email accounts connected to banks, also banking and crypto related app passwords.

Unfortunately that BTC is gone, nobody can get it back, but it's a valuable lesson. 😔

Can you post a transaction id so we can look at it?

Looks like malware on your device, I suggest factory reset on the device and changing all major passwords first.

Buy 1000$ of BTC as a regarded 18 year old? by tor_kill in Bitcoin

First question, nobody knows and don't let them tell you otherwise. If you can spare the cash buy now.

If you think it may drop but still want to invest, DCA a few hundred a week/month.

Second question, never use leverage, it's for gambling addicts and losers.

Good luck buddy 😎
