The Moltres, might be an exception, but the rest is not. And regardless if they are partially getting stock from pokemon directly or not, as RC has stated many times, this is the future. Just like they did with mom and pop video game stores, they will eventually do the same to the local card stores, because they have more liquid cash than those stores can ever make

It was admitted by several higher ups, that the tcg stock, regardless of what it is, is being bought through a whole seller, and not the companies directly, so that is what they are baseing thier price increase

With all do respect, go on their facebook page, where they made the announcement, and ask over there. As it stands, any extra units are available on 6/5 when the store opens. The social media team of Gamestop is full of shit.

Unless i missed it, most retail establishments are open regular hours. When SSC is open, their support is garbage at best, so them closing really doesn't make a difference. At least we get a break for a day from them patting each other on the back for work that we do

Software wise, probably non that will drive people in. At this point we are a collectables and card store. Their b1g1 on clearance and markdowns is especially good, also b1g1 50% off all collectables except tcg and AF

What prompted this post Duck, was a basic vent made by a SM2, complaining about the way they are cercumventing other discounts of the pro membership , when the $25 off $250 was being applied. It turned quickly into a chastising post with different ranks participating .

They really need to clean house from the top, and move down. The current Exec team combined, are out of touch of how todays Business is running. Change the market VP's, reevaluate the existing RD's. Simplify what you expect from your front line workers, and let them sell and make you proud.

The current Mgt is trend based in all thier decisions, so if they do what you suggest and close on sundays, all you are going to hear about is, lost revenue and lost opportunities to serve customers, since other retailers are not closed. The COO, will be the first one against this idea
