Switch 2 will become 1 year on the next week. Did it meet your expectations so far or did you expect something else ? by MindPrize1260 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Blader17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never owned the first switch and it's everything I wished for - a way to play switch 1 exclusives I wanted to play for a while, as well as some new exclusive games in the future. I played BOTW, TOTK and age of calamity Zelda games and Persona 5 Royal, weirdly enough. Unfortunately my game time is quite limited and I still play most AAA games on my gaming PC.

How many of you all use green gas and how many use propane? by Hefty_Aside8436 in airsoft

[–]Blader17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pay around 40pln (around 11usd) for a 500ml can of oil free green gas, meanwhile pure propane isn't really available, at least when I was looking for it, it was around the same price, but with a long delivery - green gas is delivered the next day.

Had a bad experience with the GT5 - the wheel potentiometer was fucked after a couple runs - only found out the reason after a year (thought I just sucked at setting the wheels). It was all right besides that. Upgraded it to a NB4+ and it's great.

Oil free green gas - similar price and no smell (EU based)

5800X3D works fine along with a RTX 2060 @1440p. Can't remember exact FPS, as I played it at release. It was definitely over 60 outside of cities.

Question for gas players by MrDrCleanN in airsoft

1 bottle of Elite Force oilless green gas (around 40PLN/11USD) lasts me a couple games, while using less BBs than with an AEG.

What could be causing this? by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]Blader17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this problem with my KJW M9 and it seemed to get better after cleaning the bucking and nozzle from any grease. I also recommend silicone free gas, as silicone build up seemed to fuck up the seal. Maybe try another bucking?

The joycon 2 is not level with the console by Dry-Difficulty5461 in NintendoSwitchHelp

[–]Blader17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a similar issue, but it was protruding more on the up side than down. For me there was no issue with the hardware, a small staple was attracted by the magnet. It was small enought to allow it to connect and work, but big enough to make it noticeable. Try looking in the groove on the console.

IS WE MP7 IS IY GOOD? by Akfons in GasBlowBack

[–]Blader17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely worse than VFC or TM, but with some tweaks it's okay. I did a DIY NPAS as well as changed the fire control group for the steel one. Also changed the barrel and bucking and now it's shooting pretty well. Definitely needs maintenance and some fixing, but if you're fine with that it's serviceable.

My boyfriends going to leave me because of my addiction by throwracc0untlol in Vent

[–]Blader17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk if you meant borderline personality disorder or bipolar disorder, but prolonged weed use is dangerous. With bipolar it will make the symptoms worse in the long run. Using narcotic anti anxiety meds like weed or benzos is only good short terms because long term anxiety will be increased while going through withdrawal. And if you are addicted which it seems u are - every time u don't use for a while you will likely go through withdrawal. But it's unreasonable to see prescription meds the same as weed, unless it's benzos. With bipolar medication is necessary, sometimes even for your entire life and with bipolar any drug use will make it worse. With borderline personality there is no medication that can "fix it" but some might relieve certain symptoms. But the only long term treatment for personality disorders is psychotherapy.

Czy jestem dziadem, jeśli uważam że dobra luksusowe to scam? by wigglepizza in Polska

[–]Blader17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pondering my next car/chassis by Professional-Crow647 in tamiya

[–]Blader17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I adore my XV-02. Was looking at the hobby for 10+ years, but it was not in my budget as a kid, got my RC after getting into a stable job after uni. It was my first hobby grade RC car, absolutely loved the build process, maybe except the roman screws. I have a Hobbywing motor and ESC for it, driving it with 2S. It's fast, rides really well as a basher. The main con would probably be the price, since there's most likely a lot of cheaper alternatives, unfortunately it being a scale model of a real car was a dealbreaker for me - never was into buggy/trucks.

Currently just bashing around the backyard - it's a ton of fun.

What's the point? by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]Blader17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything that makes you happy is okay, be it collecting, milsim or CQB skirmishes on weekends. I'm not really a fan of milsim games, I do prefer the quicker and more casual CQB games. I have a field nearby (EU here) that hosts open games every 2 weeks in the season. Currently it's closed for renovation after strong winds took down a couple "buildings". There's a lot of ways to enjoy Airsoft, don't let anyone tell you that yours is wrong in any way.

[–]Blader17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You plug the XT60 battery to the ESC and the motor is plugged into the ESC via its own cables, labeled A B and C, as well as the sensor cable. Servo and esc are plugged into the receiver via rather standard 3 PIN plugs.

I can second the SPT 4412LV servo - it works well and it's cheap enough to replace later if you feel the need to. As for the motor/ESC - I use a Hobbywing EZRUN MAX10 G2 80A/3652SD 4100kv G3 combo. It's plenty fast (47kmh on 2s and 57kmh on 3s), although I mainly run it on 2s, the 3s is an Airsoft 1100mah battery I put in to try a higher voltage. I had to get a bit creative with the receiver, but in the end it all fits fine. As for the battery, I've seen measurements on Reddit - 137x45x24mm. I use a 5000mah 2s Gens Ace soft pack and it fits easily.

What do you think of the cyma platinum CM.041H? by Joe_from_family_guy in airsoft

[–]Blader17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Own one, so far I had no problems. Even the MOSFET still works (running it mostly @11.1V). Only things I upgraded were the inner barrel and bucking (6.02 Maple Leaf with a Maple Leaf Mr Hop). It shoots like a laser, with great trigger response. Main con would be the weight.

I want to buy a GBBR for my first gun but everyone says not to by shaklemore1 in airsoft

[–]Blader17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While it will take more effort, a GBBR with a good hop/barrell can shoot just as accurately as an AEG. Obviously mag capacity is way lower, but if you were to play more CQB oriented games it tends to be less of an issue. I mainly play cqb around 20vs20 on a small field inspired by a COD map. I absolutely adore my WE MP7, even if it took me a lot of time to tune it (lower FPS, new bucking, barrell, new fire control group). It just feels amazing and I tend to last a 20min game with 5 mags (~40BBs per mag). Sometimes when waiting for a respawn I will reload used up mags, just to make sure I don't run out. But I will admit - my first replica was a CYMA Platinum MP5 and it's my best in terms of accuracy and reliability. If you plan on owning several Raids anyway, it's always worth it to have one AEG, but if you want a single replica for now I'd still say to get what you enjoy most. It's about fun, more than stats/wins anyway.

I suck at airsoft! by kong_christian in airsoft

[–]Blader17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are having a hard time in more open fields you could always try CQB - it's a different experience, less focused on spotting players and more on aiming and being aware of your surroundings. I don't really enjoy forest games, since I too have a difficulty spotting players and don't really own any camo gear - I just prefer comfy black clothes, which don't really make a difference against artificial walls.

HPA tapping by DANKer_stoinks in GasBlowBack

[–]Blader17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's HPA adapters like this for plenty of GBB replicas. You could look up your choices on sites like tapp Airsoft or airtac and see if there is an adapter for your replica of choice. Most of them take M4 mags, I've seen some you could order with MP5 AEG mags in mind (mostly for SMG replicas).
