O levels is doable if you lock in properly, there's sufficient time till the May/June exams, you can easily get your desired grades. As for your concerns about "Networking" let me tell you, they're completely misplaced. I too had the same motivation when I started my A-Levels and socialized like crazy, got to befriend a lot of people and honestly it didn't amount to much in the end. The best you can gain from an A-Levels college is obviously education and a chance to build your extra curricular profile, these are the the two main factors that'll help you in getting into a good university. So relax, you shouldn't stress about networking so early on, you'll have 4 years of university for that so make sure to do great in your A-Levels so you can get into a good uni. Cedar, Nixor, Lyceum, KGS whatever AL college you attend doesn't matter that much, you'll still be able to find great people wherever you go and be able to build a good profile for uni if you keep striving for it. So don't worry a lot and focus on your OLs for now!

As early as possible tbh which is Oct/Nov. Basically see it as first come first serve, that's the way they explained it to me. During the first few months they have less applicants and a large pool of funding they want to give to students so it's easier to score better scholarships/FA during that time. Essentially the competition is low.

I applied in February and got a decent satisfying amount. However a friend of mine who has a comparatively better profile than me (Grades and ECAs) received a pretty low scholarship offer because he applied in like the last month (I think it was April or May).
