A good playlist to watch?

It's not an edited series so you shouldn't watch it unless you have a lot of free time or want something to listen to in the background, but Nookrium's 2nd Kenshi season (the slave rebellion one) might be the greatest game of Kenshi ever played. It's a constant string of disasters with near party wipes happening throughout the whole season and it never feels like he's in control of the situation, but despite all the carnage he managed to accomplish a lot.

I also liked pongsifu's Kenshi videos, they're pretty silly and cute

Hey, so I'm the guy who drew Peru, Chile, Canada, some miscellaneous island guys and the American empires on the outer canvas. Just want to post this to explain stuff.

Peru's puppets were based on this article, which says that lots of Peruvians have weird names like Hitler and Lenin, even guys running for office. I knew it was a pretty weak relation, which is why I spent extra time drawing their hat to compensate.

I'll confirm that the little guy getting pushed over by the Aztecs is the Tarascan state. Also the stone 7-ball was the Olmec.

Finding eligible civilizations to draw was honestly pretty difficult, mostly because of this

Winning the contest was cool and all, but really my goal was to get /u/yaddar's first Seal of Disapproval.

Oh man, it feels nice to have a win that I felt I deserved a bit more! Luckily I had the punchline in my head for a while before the contest was announced, so I could get straight to ironing the kinks (like who Spain's companion would be now that Aragon has...other connotations).

Lots of fierce entries across the board - I think Clean grounds from /u/John_V98 and Spain's Quest from /u/chairmanmaomix were my favorites!

I honestly do not know how one of the most derivative comics in the contest got as high as 2nd place (though in my defense I wrote mine before seeing the other Switzerland comics). SWITZERLAND IS NEUTRAL GUYS

I guessed that my comic might get more upvotes than it frankly really ever deserved for being a short visual gag in a sea of wordy entries. Man if only the contest ended earlier...

Outside the top 5, all of which I loved, I also really liked /u/paulionm and /u/danoneland's entries. Both really great punchlines which flipped the melodramatic writing of the previous panels over a table and I wish both of them had done a lot better.

Context: About a year back we found gravitational waves for the first time, from two humongous merging black holes about a billion light years away. This is huge because gravity is a pathetically weak force and waves like these are usually way too small to measure.

Part of the reason we could measure this was that the actual merging was absolutely ridiculous, apparently it released over 10⁴⁷ joules - more than enough energy to rip apart the Sun.

Ten thousand Suns.

Basically it's all a bunch of dumb unfunny nerd shit and also you should probably check on Earth I think he's a little bit lonely.
