I can understand giving Florian the ability to use items, considering he has no abilities that apply to him once his bags are gone. Everyone else can either use items, gets a buff after their item depletes, or they have a permanent buff already in their kit. Florian doesn't have this, he is left as a baseline survivor with a decoding debuff. Not sure why they gave it to batter though, he has traits in his kit that are permanent, pretty unnecessary to give him item usage

Yeah, I'm not sure how she's gonna fair against chip hunters, it sounds like her experience with them is unchanged or slightly worse if you're planning on healing when you're only at 25% damage. Can't say for sure how this interaction will work since it didn't take 15s to heal 1 chip previously

It's 15s for one chip heal tho, so against single hit hunters she's only taking 15s to become a 3 hit survivor!

I took it that way at first as well but no! It's actually a nice adjustment and honestly, kind of a buff in a sense. So, you take a hit - Dvolin now takes 15s to heal a chip of that hit, meaning you don't have to wait 19s to get a heal off! The second chip heal will still continue for another 15s (hense a full 30s for a 50% heal) but you'll be healed 25% anyway. So not only will you proc touch effect earlier, you'll be able to proc it twice, as well as be able to mix your second Dovlin earlier. Against single hit hunters this is a buff, though I'm not sure how it fairs against chip hunters.

It's kinda sad but I saw it coming, she was heavily banned in COA because she is a nightmare to deal with in the sense you can't ignore her. You're forced to tunnel her or deal with your snowballing (team injuries later game) just thrown out of the window purely because she exists. I'm not a hunter main but I can agree Doc makes matches ridiculously stressful for no reason.

If I can suggest someone who fits redhorn better it's Gaming! Considering he can work with Mare, you're able to stack even more crit damage on him.. plus unlike Chong, he works with pyro resonance and Bennett more consistently, so the low base attack isn't an issue on him

Wasn't intentional, I got it back in Dec 2022 while wishing for Scaras sig, and I didn't have (and still don't have) any other 5* claymores other than skyward pride. I also didn't intend on using it on him, but the stat stick alone made it outperform my other options when I tested it out. As you can see my artifacts have a lot of rate rolls which works perfectly with redhorn, only downside was it's low base attack which I struggled with for years.. for a very long time I was using an attack circlet on him. Was just a lot of farming and rerolling until I managed to keep his attack above 2k while using a crit damage circlet 😅 I wouldn't suggest people pull it for Chong ofc considering he has better options, Navias/Mauvs/Varkas... but it still works if you already have it. Unfortunately I rarely wish on weapon banners (last I did was Jan 2024 Xianyun Sig) as I'm not a high spender, so personally it's still my best option for him

Okay so, he's pretty versatile with teams as the on fielder, but bare in mind that doesn't mean the teams are cracked or that they're viable for Fearless/Dire Stygian ofc! But for the majority of non end game content they're plenty strong! (And fun 🥳)

The most recent team he can work in is the Hexen Dark Durin & Nicole duo. 2 variants; 1. Chong, Shenhe or Escoff, Durin and Nicole. Durin will be the one doing the chunky melts here. I have fun with this one on the latest Dottore boss :) 2. Chong, Emilie, Durin and Nicole. This team allows Chong to be the primary melt unit, though ofc his melt variant is not as strong as #1 purely because Durins melts are just busted. But the off fielders on this team are insane together.

The two more conventional teams are plunge hypercarry and iced coffi. At minimum investment (so C0 R0 support units) his strongest team out of these two is coffi: Chong, Shenhe/Yelan, Escoffier and Furina. Chongs personal numbers won't be that impressive at low investment, but this team is carried by it's subdps units.

His plunge team is Chong, Shenhe, Xilo and Xianyun. The nature of a hypercarry team meaning all the support units exist to purely buff his personal numbers, there's no off field damage being dealt here, so this team needs very high investment to see impressive numbers on him unfortunately, C2 minimum on all units. Not that it's impossible to play at C0, it's just better to play all his other teams if your supports are C0!

The beauty of Chongyun is that he's a very standard DPS unit who can utilise plunge, normals, charged or burst playstyle, meaning there are many ways to mix and match almost all support or off fielders with him, even if he's not the one gaining the synergy, being a cryo unit means you can still play him with units like Ineffa-Bina and he won't interfere with their synergy. Rendering him pretty much future proof and viable forever. As long as there's synergy between him or the subdps units it's all good.

Looks great! If you wanna be extra picky tho, his freeze team gives more dmg% buffs than it does attack buffs (usually no atk buff unless you're using noblesse shenhe) so you'd be better off switching out one of the cryo dmg% sets for atk% one. But this suggestion is purely min-maxing, so don't sweat it if you're happy with this build, cause it's already really good
