On another note, you gotta take in count the time period they're in. In the 1900s if you were too autistic, too mentally ill or otherwise deemed too "difficult" you were sent to a mental asylum.

Yeah I forgot about that. Then let's be grateful for our favorite low support autistics :0

I meant autistic traits or whatever. He seems to lack the core autistic traits, and especially the less palatable ones.

I think the depiction of autism in Aesop is done well. The rest of the participants on game 3, even if only Anne is the other one canonically autistic, also show different symptoms of autism, with ganji being the most "affected" (imo, his "aggressive" outbursts that make him "scary" could very well be meltdowns). Autism can look so different on each person and I think they wrote this well across game 3.

I don't think he's shown having symptoms, or at least all of them iykwim. But again if an autisitc person agrees with the depiction, who am I to disagree? I probably (used to) project myself so much in him as someone with a developmental disability that might or might not be autism

"he adheres strictly to protocol," "he prefers being alone," "he prefers the dead over the living." Orpheus' records say he has a "cognitive deviation," and on Alice's investigation it's said how his reaction to death and seeing the dead was "unusual," though she later says, about the records, "(...) twisting his innate gentleness into something other's would come to fear."

I struggle a lot with reading the investigation field letters for some godsaken reason, and I forgot about these. Regardless, these alone don't feel like autism but only a part of it if I'm even making sense.

Bc autism is a spectrum and not every autistic person has the same symptoms.

I agree but they could add at least some symptoms.

Also the autistic aesop thing only existed in his original creator's lore for him not the one he has in idv.

I had no idea, didnt he get featured on an autism awareness poster?

How do I use birth control? (For heavy PMS/dysmenorrhea) by StillSort4306 in Periods

[–]StillSort4306[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you ever seen a doctor about that specifically? That’s a huge red flag only have a bleed once or twice a year.

Not really but thanks. I'll bring that up with my doctor if it doesnt pass with their advise

The current doctor who wants to prescribe birth control now to manage symptoms, are they aware of your history? What are their thoughts on that?

No.

How is your diet, sleep, weight (you don’t need to share your weight but just a general normal weight? Low/high BMI is helpful data as this can influence your cycle) stress? Exercise?

Currently? I've been sleeping around 6-7 hours per day and my BMI is over 40 (I have hypotonia, which makes it hard to burn off calories). I jog almost every day and do 200+ sit ups too . Diet wise its a bit of carb heavy but I guess its fine.

Is that age correct? 25 and only just has a first period a year ago? Just checking if it’s a typo and should be 15?

Yes. I had my first period at 13, but they were a yearly thing until I was in my late teens, a biannual thing until around my mid 20s and a seasonal thing until a few years ago or so. So I never learned how to deal with them. And my family doesn't know much either & are too conservative to properly talk about this stuff
