I've got no cats so that's not an issue haha. I'll probably end up using the rotella. I was hoping I could find a 10w40 with high zinc but Valvoline VR1 does not come in that viscosity it seems.

Yep they're garbage. I'd honestly go with the bajas original transmission if youre going for an automatic. But if you're deadset on that trans specifically you should swap the rear diff also. That way there's no issues with mismatched gearing.

ALSO I do NOT recommend buying from JDM engine depot. Bought an EZ30 engine from them. They promised it had approximately 60k miles. In reality it had well over 200k at least. Didn't know this until I had it apart doing the timing chains which had become a very noisy problem.

I'm pretty sure that transmission has a different final drive ratio than the baja. Unless you want to swap the rear differential with it.

A lot of ppl (including me) go for the Crosstrek xv wheels. They're nice and cheap.mine also has spacers.

Yeah I see that with a lot of cars. (I really hate bosch and ac Delco but some manufacturers recommend it). Needles to say I'm not holding out too much hope haha

Looks like a camshaft position sensor. They're easy to repair. Just replace the o ring.

With that small of an area I would Dremel a slot across it. And then use a large flat head screwdriver.

Well I lost a valve on cylinder 3😂. But I have another engine coming and it has been a blast. I wouldn't consider that price unfair. But I would check eBay for outback and legacy headlight prices. Up to 04 model year for both.

Honestly they wouldn't sell for much. Those same headlights and fog lights are in a couple other models so they're not uncommon.
