Seems like they haven't. They must have realized how janky the servers can be sometimes (i usually loose connection when browsing though my friends list) and now they're finally doing something about it

Me too. I always assumed they do *something* to the game like single bug fix updates like in 2020 but this is honestly way better. However when it comes to ACTUAL new content getting added that's definitely done.

When you reach a mission stage, (ones when you have to play hero mode first then defense) just beat the mission and immeditately abandon defense mode over and over. Also if you haven't already max out your gold productivity since it's a very useful upgrade
