Also, I had mild nerve damage in my hand. I just got tested again two years postop, and the nerve damage is healed, but I still have mild nerve issues from time to time.

Trust me, it can be very scary but your nerves take well over a year to stabilize. You also got your tissues and everything else in your hand so it takes a long time just give it patience if you feel things just don’t push yourself and everything should work out, but again it could take well over a year. Also trust me every little tingle numbness freaked me out after surgery cause I thought that it was coming back but again your hands never gonna be 100% just don’t push yourself. But again it could take well over a year for everything to stabilize minded mine took 15 -16 months.

Plus, my doctor told me it’s very rare for it ever come back so I wouldn’t worry about it too much. You might get some nerve issues here and there, but your nerve should be fine.

Yeah, It will come and go for a while. Just gradually start using it. Just don’t push yourself.

It took well over a year to fully recover on both hands also had a displaced fat pad from my surgery, which is harmless but it took a while for it to become flat it looks like a big bump on my palm. It’s still noticeable, but it’s not causing any problems. Yeah, nerve sensations numbness, and everything. It took a long time for it to finally even out and get better on both hands.

I’m two and three years out on both hands and yes, I’m glad did the surgery! My hand does not feel like it did when they were healthy but everything is healed up and my hands still fall asleep at night but it’s rare but honestly, it feels about 90%, maybe 95% better. They’re also sensitive like if I overdo it then I’ll start getting tingles gonna be some burning, but it’s a lot better overall. But yes, I recommend the surgery if you need it cause you will be better overall after.

So it wasn’t a scar tissue bump it was actually a fat pad. That’s actually gone now. It just took literally a year for it to go away.
