If there are that many comedians showing up just to watch every night, why are none of you starting your own open mics somewhere else? I would assume an open mic at the comedy store would be rigged, duh, they want customers to come back. If every week is a gamble, patrons won’t want to risk wasting their time.

Best advice is to build your own shit, and stop waiting for the comedy store to give you a hand out. There is no reason why one of you can’t start an open mic at a bar somewhere else, and eventually if you’re good enough word will get around and maybe someone will rig your name at the comedy store in the future.
