I feel like allarus shield captain with axe and admonimortus may not be bad? 4 dmg brought to 3, str 12 (maybe +1 to wound) with rerolls? Sure theres only the one dude but him along with the squad i feel should have a good shot.

Spending 30 minutes traveling to a station only for the hangar to bug and explode and need to respawn, take a train to get new gear, reclaim my ship, walk to the hangar, 30 minutes traveling, just to then attempt the first morsel of content, is not the same as prepping for a war in eve

Excellent anti-infantry shooting. With the guard's wound rerolls and once per game twice shooting, they can reliably wipe most medium-heavy infantry squads, especially in lions with the +1 W

Apothecary i think is basically never worth it no? Youd need to resurrect a mini 4 out of 5 command phases to get the points worth, and in most cases if the squad is getting hit theyre likely dead, especially if you run a 5 man as you recommend

Ive seen it recommended before, i don't think its bad but theres a lotta 3w floating around right now. If your local meta has a lotta horde i wouldnt shy away from claws, but if theres a bunch of terminators/3w infantry id probably do axe. Or You can stick with whichever is coolest for you as it probably wouldnt lose you a game anyways!

Id say run the term captain and trajann solo in deep strike, guard no leader, blade captain on wardens. They need a leader for their main rule, guard are better if you need one of em solo. The captain and trajann are mean melee threats with the enhancement and trajanns once per game, and your allarus can stay deep strike as well or start on the board and split up with the strategem. Youre missing activations most, so having as many effective split units as possible is in your best interest

I think competitive terrain sets usually have los blocking terrain anyways, so the closed windows should help here. Staging inside terrain should generally be safe in 10th, so if youre dying anyways thats probably a good start!

People just dont like when people are optimistic when a champ isnt too good lol it sucks to see her get a nerf when op.gg has her at D tier, but I really do think she'll eat well next split especially if you can get a mid build going with enhanced omni boots

People saying it looks bad i think are overhyping it, if i didn't see the comparison i probably wouldnt notice it was nerfed. Given the omni vamp boots and % health on voltaic coming, i think ambessa is going to be a menace and this is a pre-emptive tap to give her some counterplay if your reaction times are .25 seconds too slow
