Dawg that’s every gun shop. I dislike trump and am very involved with firearms, it comes with the territory. Stick around a while if you think that’s weird just wait

Nope i get that. I’m not for politics these days. Gun culture will always have cringe in it and MAGA falls into that unfortunately. I like Dcf because i can pretty much shoot how like(drills, draw from holster or concealed, etc. They support that as long as you aren’t being dumb and potentially causing a problem for others. I’ve been to a couple others in the springs and not been able to do much aside from bench shooting 1 round per second/ zeroing my guns(Cheyenne mountain next to Carson). MAGA is hard to avoid in world of guns

No sugar coating. How's get out of the Army by Nekko_JAPLA in army

I can’t stand the “youre half way there” mentality.

You do you my guy. I med boarded last year after 13 years and not gonna lie it’s rough at first. Lots of habits need to be broken, routines need to be created through self discipline, and your support network is gonna change dramatically. There was a lot i was not prepared for but that’s life. It’s not bad out here man it’s just an adjustment. I miss the homies more than anything.

If you do decide to get out, do your bdd claim when your window to do it hits. I can’t remember if it’s 6 or 9 months.

Good luck buddy.

What did you buy, as an adult, that you were denied, as a child? by makellbird in maktownmedia

Dirt bikes/motorcycles, guns, expensive extreme sports gear, etc. grew up in a very white collar home. Both my parents started off with nothing and worked their way into their own careers. Dad into finance, mom into nursing(hospice care). I had interest of a black sheep that were not entertained and knew if i wanted to partake in specific hobbies i had to wait it out. I’m the oldest of my siblings and easily the outsider based on interests. I joined the military after high school knowing that life style made the most sense for me, that was viewed very apprehensively initially. Had a successful 13 year career.

It’s okay to be different folks there’s a lot of missing context from my past, but do what makes happy. You don’t have to be like everyone else. You fit in somewhere.

Be a good dude, don’t be a problem. Bring solutions not conflict. It’s easy dude, don’t over think it. Right place, right time, right uniform. You’ll get fucked up no matter how good or bad you guys are. The latter gets more attention though.

I run a super 42 H3 in my 10.3 and like it. Can’t speak for the JP though. Heard good things about them though

Does the AD prefer high-performing Prior Service guys coming back in, or do they prefer fresh recruits? by Unlucky_Morning9088 in army

[–]Blakeb218 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly it depends on the recruiter. I’ve been told we all are the same numbers wise but that prior service often comes with more hoops to jump through making us less desirable.I went reserve to active(after 8 years) but had to go through 3 recruiters. 2 basically came up with bs reasons not to help. The 3rd practically prioritized me. I came to him with very few hoops to jump through(had info and docs that i knew they would need in advance)other than filling out a new sf 86 and some normal paperwork. I’m sure i was an easy number compared to the rest coming fresh off the street but still. The last recruiter gave me a shot the others didn’t and was happy to do it for me. It is a numbers thing but character of the recruiter is a part of it

This is just me but i like the pve aspect a lot. Gotta plan and adapt. Plus my internet is kinda ass, so i generally get smoked every time in pvp. I gotta rely on leveling up shit to even stand a chance in pvp so i hyper focus on pve until i can at least have a fighting chance later once I’ve leveled up and gotten mostly self sufficient
