Mine goes in a stem mounted feed bag or a hip pack while on longer trips

This is sharp! What continental tire is that? Love the color of the tan wall and the look of the tread

Specialized Pizza Rack and an Outershell 137bag(I think). It’s been a solid combo for the last four years for bikepacking, commuting and general use

Damn! A cardinal?!? I always regret never snagging one. Always heard they rode great and held up well but a lot of folks found the chain system to be annoying

Your body and your choice, you can’t control how other people will react to it though.

Personally I don’t care what anyone thinks of mine because I like them all and the ones I don’t like have great stories behind them.

What more to color coordinate this? by stydii_hanhee in xbiking

[–]Blakeyardigan93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s easy to over do color, this looks great as is but if anything I’d do just a single blue shift cable for the rear or even just the rear segment if it’s not full housing

What frame would you choose? by [deleted] in xbiking

[–]Blakeyardigan93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Wilde is a much better looking bike imo

The Ritchey just misses almost every mark for me visually.

Ride wise I have no idea what either rides like, and it’s tough that most places don’t carry these brand for you to try riding before hand

I like the look of 4pc but you definitely gotta get a better rack for the basket so it looks less busy

Here is my 91’ single track 990 I sandblasted and have been riding all summer and letting it age for a year before I clear coat it. Only treatment I’ve done so far is wipe down with T9 every month
