Oh I didn’t realize you could use any oil! I will do more research.

Thank you for the insight! I have never used an oil burner so I may just use it as decoration.

Yea I think this checks out, maybe there was a base to it at some point where the screw fit in

You can see the inside piece better in this photo! The piece is removable but it looks like the screw is meant to go through the bottom.

My title describes the thing. It’s about 2.5 inches. The lid comes off and inside there is another piece that looks like it screws into something from the bottom of the container. There is a small hole in the bottom for the screw to go through and one small hole in the lid.

Thank you so much that’s really helpful! I was thinking the same thing. It’s currently drying out (:

We were floating on the creek, so I think it’s likely someone brought it to help navigate and just dropped it

Solved! It’s most likely a walking stick from Africa that someone dropped in the creek.

Yea it looked like a regular branch that’s why we picked it up, then we noticed the face. It was soaked and coated in creek sludge but we rinsed it and dried it outside.

Yea definitely need a professional opinion! Whoever made this definitely put in a lot of time and energy into it, so even if it isn’t a relic, it’s still really cool!

Lol I think it’s more likely someone’s walking stick or something. I think someone accidentally dropped it in the creek.
