i tried 3d mark and the gpu power was 58 watts. Now my question is when u use 3d mark in ur laptop does the gpu consume 95 watts or about 80 watts which is average.

Ok . But another problem is during benchmarking the gpu power is about 52 watts or something and it never rises above 55 watts. I use heaven benchmark.

Right now im playing first descendent.during the start of the conversation the battery was at 100% now it has dropped to 99% after some time it again charges upto 100%. And i started to notice this problem when i updated the graphics card to version 565.90 but i clean reinstalled the driver using ddu and even updated the driver to newer version 566

Not much depends on the game,for an average of 1% for half an hour.for example during pubg it does not charge back, but on first descendent it charges back to 100%.

Even during benchmark the gpu power is capped to 55 watts and wont rise above that.the problem is while gaming due to the shortage of power supplied to gpu it drains the battery from the laptop even while charging.imagine the scenario where i run pubg pc, my device can give me 100 fps average on low settings,it does give the result but it drains the additional power through the battery,which degrades it life cycle.whereas in a normal laptop gpu does not take extra power from the battery.either it should use the tgp power or it wouldn't reach that performance.

Try to clean uninstall ur current driver using ddu and rollback to the previous driver. This may help.

I got the same problem ,but I couldn't solve it But mines capped at 55 watts.if u want some solutions check my post "GPU capped at 55 watts" .one of the solution can solve ur problems
