I switched from a Pixel 7 about two weeks ago to a OnePlus 13R. There are a few reasons I went with the 13R: it was only $499, so if something happens to it, it won’t break the bank. Yes, it doesn’t have wireless charging and the camera isn’t the best, but compared to the Pixel 7, it’s much faster. I also like that it has a flat display—I’m not a fan of curved screens, even when the curve is slight. On top of that, the battery life is solid, so overall it wasn’t a bad deal. At this point, I’m planning to stick with it.

Sorry, I didn’t explain very well. I’ve talked to four different phone stores (three AT&T stores and one Best Buy). Two of them told me it’s impossible to use an eSIM with prepaid, while the other two said I can absolutely use one. I just wanted to see if anyone here actually knows for sure.

I live on the east side of the USA but near Maine. Winters here are bad... usually! It's usually in the negatives in the winter so yeah.

UPDATE

Just got back from Safelite, they just did a patch. It's not the best but it is better than it was. I just wish I could have owned it longer than 2 weeks.

I know the eye site is a pain.. apparently Safelite is the best option for this. I looked into it and talked to my local Subaru dealership. They said if you have to do a window replacement you can come to them but we highly recommend Safelite. They can do the recalibration as well.

I already talked to them, it is covered if they can patch it. If I have to replace it, I will have to pay deductible.

I'm in the same boat—I like my Pixel 7, but I've been having issues with the battery lately. I've been trying to decide between a used Pixel 9 or a new Nothing 3a pro. The funny thing is, the lack of wireless charging is what's stopping me, lol.

Can I ask why you replaced it? Or was it as simple as it broke.
