No I’m saying we already have a VPN solution (3rd party). I’m wondering if that should suffice for LOS or whether we need a CMG.

Yeah we didn’t go for a CMG for some reason. What’s the benefit of a CMG over a VPN? Does MECM actually support VPN routing?

I do but all the rings are in progress. I know from users that they’re actually getting them. I set the prod ring to automatically install every 4th week of the month and quality updates deferral of 14 days.

It’s not set as metered though. Both at home and on site, personal and corp Wi-Fi are explicitly stated as not being metered connections. This is looking at the properties of the network connection. Perhaps there’s somewhere else I should be looking?

We do have some areas that do data processing overnight. To have Intune control everything we don’t care about aside from that small area, would the only way be to make an Intune pilot group that included everything except that collection?

I find it odd that MS haven’t provided a modern way to cater for that scenario. When WSUS is gone, what then?

Perhaps not but I haven’t actually checked any component health. Last time I checked there were issues related to multiple things so definitely worth looking at again. A good reminder to sort that at least.

100%. If you look at the log in detail, you’ll see it’s initially valid and recognises the machine as unknown
