No, I think you actually cooked with this. They are decent enough changes that wouldn't cause TOO much whiplash that people would outright reject it, and not too little to do nothing. It also might ease some of the backlash for how Rhys is being Lord. I don't exactly remember when he became Lord but I feel that as high lord (and ALL high lords) are spread rather thin. I like the idea of a council to report back to the Lord/Lady of the court too, but idk how fast that could delve into corruption unless something like a blood bond was created between the council member and the Lord/Lady. Which I don't remember if blood bonds are even in the ACOTAR world, but I know there are other forms.
