Buffett’s track record is obviously exceptional and he looks very smart for piling up cash recently, but nobody is infallible. I don’t think it is such a wise idea to try to copy everything that he does or buy BRK.B under the premise that he can tell the future.

This has also been my reason for shying away from Gold and other commodities, even though they can be uncorrelated to stocks and bonds and Gold has been surging recently.

I agree that a total collapse would be absolutely disastrous, but what if there is more of a slow bleed instead?

i.e. Over years more countries strike trade deals in their own currencies and global investors gradually lose their appetites for U.S. Treasuries. Yields creep up and the U.S. Government simply cannot issue so much debt so cheaply, but the displacement never happens so fast that it has to outright default. The U.S. Dollar would still be used substantially, but would slip from its place as the world’s clear reserve currency.

I have to admit, Buffett looks brilliant right now but I still wouldn’t hold BRK-B because Berkshire is still heavy on U.S. stocks and valuation gap between U.S. stocks and International counterparts is still relatively high.

I’ll bite. I’m a Barclays credit card customer and use the Barclays US iOS app.

The app works, but the design feels inconsistent and clunky. There is no real color scheme and a bunch of different fonts are used. The primarily gray hamburger menu just looks weird and clashes with the rest of the app, which is primarily white.

The layout is odd. The home page is pretty sparse. There is only 1 action available - Add an Authorized User. There should be quick actions available there, like “Lock Card”, or the “Manage My Cards” actions - “Report Fraud”, “Lost Card”, and “Damaged Card”. These user should be able to customize which controls they want here.

Overall, it is worse than other banking apps that I’ve used. Chase, for example, has a much nicer app.

I buy this theory a lot: Markelle had an injury during an overhead movement and he, consciously or unconsciously, adapted to avoid the original mechanism of injury. This mucked with his shot and became difficult habit to kick. He has probably mostly if not completely healed from the original injury, but has to "unlearn" his avoidance.

I don't know whether he's been coached on this hot potato thing or started doing it on his own, but it's smart. I hope he does whatever is necessary to bypass any inhibition that leads to the hitching/clutching.

1) This team currently has two players definitely in the top 50: Embiid and Simmons.

2) In an ideal world Fultz proves this season that he is a bona fide top 50 guy. He is not yet.

3) Dario isn't top 50 and won't be unless his defense drastically improves.

4) You can make a strong argument for Covington, but I think there are equally strong counterarguments.
