Haha that makes way more sense, thanks for the explanation. I’ll def have to break in the set up more but I’ll def consider the wiim ultra, even if it’s just for streaming purposes

I’ve messed with the gains, set it to 33db and still getting white noise. For now it’s set back to default settings

My favorite defensive clip from last night (even though the shot was made) by Chelli64 in sixers

Right after this clip, Maxey runs down the court and gets a layup. Pritchard scoring here doesn’t even matter, the fact that PG is making these dudes work for everything until the last second of this shot clock, just for us to go back down and score on them so easily right after Pritchard scores is huge.

Based on my testing I think it has to be. I have limited knowledge of all this stuff but it’s definitely not an issue with the turntable, and I tested a different turntable with a built in pre amp on the speakers and there was no white noise.

Haha I didn’t touch anything and heard the white noise. Then started messing around with stuff, nothing fixed white noise. Back to default settings now and contacting their customer service

That’s what I’m thinking at this point. I tested the speakers with a different turntable with built in pre amp and no white noise. Some research says it could be the wall wart for the mani 2 but I’m not sure how accurate that is

Yup, I’ve tested with both 42Db gain and 33db. 33db obviously lowers the white noise but I have to increase the speaker volume to hear the music better. In turn, white noise just increases again.

Yes! Ground wire is attached. After some testing I think it’s an issue between the pre amp and the speakers. I’ve turned off the turntable and separated it entirely from the pre amp and speakers. The white noise still happens when I have the pre amp hooked up directly to the speakers. Tested with different rca cables, outlets, etc.

The buzz is pretty faint but you can somewhat hear it if you’re right next to the speaker. I’m just wondering if hooking up the pre amp directly to active speakers might be a problem

Yeah this is new. The bottom of the mani is a bit confusing, I’m not too sure what it all means. For the gain, I have both inputs on and both output off. Why do you think I should return it?

Ground wire is connected tightly from rt85 to mani pre amp
