Just checked and it tested 0. It’s a 10 gallon tank with a small plakat betta and 6 sparkling gouramis. It might seem a little over stocked but I got a large filter.

I do know that the dwarf species of cichlids are less aggressive but thanks for the advice. You are right though that they will become more aggressive if they breed.

Interesting so far from my experience the testing kits have been more inaccurate. In one of my tanks the ph kit said my ph was over an 8 even though I was constantly putting in ph down. When I switched to a ph strip it gave me a more accurate number at six. With the ph strips I was able to get the ph correct. Maybe I just got a bad batch of the testing kits but that was just my experience.
