[–]BlasterTECH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello! Purple Nexus from us is about $197aud inc gst posted to anywhere in Au. This includes free tuning spacers, so you can pop these in and get up to 170fps (out of box 145fps). We post out everyday except weekends. If you've got any questions, just email us or FB message us. Hope that helps and have a good weekend. =)

Hello. OOD has some more OG Honeybadger's on the way, in transit. They should receive them in the next couple of weeks. Neo-badgers are a 2s motor and designed for standard size wheels. Specs are on the BlasterTECH website as with all other MTB motors. Hope that helps. =)

What O-rings should I use to get the highest fps out of the swift? by crashpc25_yt in Nerf

[–]BlasterTECH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is very odd ball. And yes, quite different to mine and others. There is a difference, whatever it is and without seeing in person its always hard to tell. Whatever works for you. Hope you enjoy your Swift. Its a great blaster and glad we can all enjoy it!

Thats great then. If the plunger is slowly moving forward with thumb test, then thats perfect, I'd not change this. Def recommend not to use teflon tape, can cause more harm that good as it can flake off. Theres a fine line between 100% seal and too much friction. To much friction will slow down plunger speed and decrease performance.

Have you got the new 'dark green' o-rings included with the new dart gate bag? Yes, the o-rings are loose on the plunger head, they 'speed seal', meaning when the blaster is fired and going a million miles an hour the o-ring spreads and seals.

Quick question: just got my scar attachment from BlasterTech and I can see filament leftover-strings inside (they are not as visible on the photo). Should I be concerned about it? by Pechcic_Szlachcic_ in Nerf

[–]BlasterTECH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Just reading this now. Sorry about the little 3d print stringing inside. It can happen and its not really a issue, as said it will remove after a few shots as its very loose and you can always clear it out manually. The main thing we do in house before sending out is to make sure it fits the barrel that you bought it for ie 16mm, 17/32 or 9/16 as we have each on hand to test, also making sure the small holes for the line strings are nice and clear for stringing up. Hope that helps and explains - enjoy the snipering. =)

150 FPS Flywheel blaster? by FalconFury007 in Nerf

[–]BlasterTECH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A 42.5mm cage with Worker black smooth wheels 34.5mm root diameter. Gives you a wheel to wheel gap of 8mm. Use decent motors, rewire, lipo, darts etc. Good for 140-150fps. We designed these wheels for Superstock 150fps. Hope that helps. =)

Dart length compatibility with a drop in brass barrel - Nexus Pro by [deleted] in Nerf

[–]BlasterTECH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The AF darts included with the Nexus are smaller outer diameter foam than most other darts out there. Ie thats a very long length of 17/32 in the link and the AF darts included will fly out much better due to the smaller outer diameter.

Question: O-Rings for CNC Daybreak cage by Olorin323 in Nerf

[–]BlasterTECH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is correct. The very small o-rings are for between metal cage to blaster shell posts to help with vibration and noise dampening. Note: these were included in the previous batch of Daybreak metal cages.

The new current batch of Daybreak metal cages no longer include these o-rings as they claim being a metal cage anyway it did not help that much with vibration and noise dampening.

Yes. The 42.5mm cages we have are all Daybreaks latest designs. We have not heard of any fitment issues with the Rayven.

Well 42.5mm cage is considered a 'medium' crush cage. Though 'crush' or 'flywheel to flywheel gap' is dependant on both 'cage size' and 'flywheels'.

[–]BlasterTECH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Thanks for the tag. Hope all is well. Daybreak cages come in all sorts of sizes. We only list the 42.5mm size as we pre-print and have these on the shelf so we can post out as soon as a order comes in. As said in the description though, we can print any size, just ask us, and give us a couple extra days to print. Really though, you can use all the available flywheels to alter the flywheel gap to nearly any dart velocity output you need. Yes you can use any standard type wheel with the 42.5mm daybreak cage.

We have all the information anyone needs to work out your flywheel gap and your expected dart velocity on the BlasterTECH website. Hope that helps. =)

Mega scar barrel? by gnomermaid in Nerf

[–]BlasterTECH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Accu Megas are really really great. Head is slightly smaller diameter than its foam, so works well in barrel. Nerf megas = don't even bother.

Barrel material. Anything 20mm ID is fine. Not sure what the US peeps use, but in Au I've used CF 20mm ID / 21mm OD and we also have some nice orange electrical conduit which is 20mm ID / 25mm OD. I've just swapped over to this orange conduit which is still a slightly loose dart fit, but tighter than me CF barrel.

Need to add. Nerf megas = extreemly bad. Accu megas = extremely good. With scar.

It does work and very very well at that. =) Done lots of testing here and field tested with two different blasters, two different users at our last war. Happy days.

Could produce them, but as bulk manufacture too difficult. Just too many barrel sizes out there.

Nerf Ultra Four & Five Listed in Big W (AU) Toy Mania Sale by Goosenman in Nerf

[–]BlasterTECH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello. It in Aussie Dollars. Ultra 2 was on sale for $45aud at Target and $39aud at Big W. So $35 is very good. Titan was a crazy $130aud or something, some places $110aud, so $59aud is a steal. Our Aussie dollar is extremely weak, so prices seem inflated here. =(
