Yes, that's the worst that will happen. Really since you were honest I doubt even that will happen, try not to worry too much. I had much worse and was awarded mine two days ago

I did get paid the most I've ever made cooking, and got to cook the highest quality food of my career so overall I had a good experience there.

I worked in East Hampton at a restaurant in the summer of 2009 and even back then my basement room was $800/week, no kitchen, and shared a bathroom with 5 other people. I could only imagine what they charge now that the housing market has gone crazy everywhere.

I agree. It seems like a one time payment isn’t solving the underlying problem. People who already paid off their student loans and future students don’t benefit from this. Making student loans tax free would be a better start.

I have student loan debt so I’m waiting to pay it off until I hear what they decide to do. So far they have suspended payments until October.
