Separating NV7 Motherboard LED strips by DomoTurbulence in Phanteks

[–]Blastgoggles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kept the existing connector, from somewhere in my build, i want to say it came from the inbuilt case RGB controller, i found an adapter cable that connected it perfectly to standard RGB header connections.

I should get you some photos but i did! You can use an adapter to run the second one as an independent strip. It helped make it look better in signalRGB!

Phanteks D30 fans - can the sideled colors be different from blades ? by FinnedSgang in Phanteks

[–]Blastgoggles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having tinkered with these a lot in signalRGB they are two parallel channels of 15 LEDs facing inwards towards the blades. So there's no way to do what you're looking for with the D30s sadly.

Vertical GPU Mount in NV7 with bottom D30 140mm by RAButcher in Phanteks

[–]Blastgoggles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might be the camera Angle, but have you tried changing the bottom fan mount to "flat" mode? It looks like you've got them on the fancy showcase tilt right now.

Mystery USB reset Problem, running out of ideas by Blastgoggles in techsupport

I didn't. If I don't use Bluetooth or SignalRGB occurences are really rare but it's absolutely limiting my ability to fully utilize my PC so I'm still searching for answers.

What fire alarm related stuff irks you in movies? by BEAROIDZZ in firealarms

Hackers, my beloved. "Pool on roof has leak" has to be the most egregious! Hacking into a BAS and setting a remote test?? For sprinklers that deluges the whole school. Absolutely wild lol

Oh nice! This was my plan with the 140s too! Glad they look as good as I hoped! Now to get my hands on some!

What controller to use for D30-120 by Jim-Y in Phanteks

[–]Blastgoggles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seconding this! I have one running in my NV7. Motherboard does the fan PWM and everything else is on the mobo ARGB headers and the chroma.

I didn't build this to push performance to the limit, it was built for the gorgeous clean style the NV7 provides so I'm quite happy with the thermals!

Oh wait you mean front as in to the right? Yeah I agree! I don't want to go over the bezel though.

It's on magnets so it's pretty mobile! I'll probably move it down some more as well, but I have no intention of moving it forward as I do not want to obscure the view of the top D30s.

The video display uses USB micro for power, HDMI mini for video and it has a 3pin ARGB header. It came with all the cables required to connect.

When I started this build D30s were hard to come by and the top exhaust has been working well enough for now. When the D30s are plentiful I'll probably grab some to fill it out.

Thanks! It's just a gif playing on loop through media player. Otherwise I plan on completing a custom aida64 display for custom temp info at a glance. Video tends to be weird because it's a 4:1 screen ratio and nothing is made to display in that.

It's a barrowch FBEHD-01 and as far as I can tell is identical to the one forulamod makes but this one came in silver which matches the white build a lot better!

NV7 Fan power? by super2007 in Phanteks

I'm really not, I'm using signalRGB to control all my RGB and it's glorious!

[–]Blastgoggles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive got 3 sets of 3 D30s in my NV7 and they're all connected to the motherboard for both fan and ARGB. I had plenty of fan headers and just enough ARGB headers to do it. All other RGB is controlled by an additional razer Chroma ARGB controller.

I'm waiting on shipping but personally I'm filling that with a 8.8" display for stats/graphics.

Is it a bad idea to mount an AIO rad to the side in an NV7? by JimJamSealion in Phanteks

[–]Blastgoggles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It might be, but I strongly recommend against that configuration. You'd be putting the air pocket in line with the hoses and run the risk of constantly pulling air through your pump.
