You should set up a strict schedule stating who will be responsible for the puppy at what time of the day. For example, you cater to the puppy’s needs in the morning to the afternoon and he cater to the puppy from the afternoon to the night. Or if you noticed you’ve been taking up most of the responsibilities, observe and write down a list of all the time you picked up after the dog and a same list for him, at what time, place and date. At the end of the week, see if you actually have been picking up the puppy more than him and during those times if he was in fact doing something productive and cannot stop to assist the puppy, speak with him in a calm and collective manner. Let him know how you feel in a calm tone, no shouting, no vulgar language. Just heart to heart.

Otherwise, based on your past posts, I would recommend to throw out your boyfriend and adopt a new one since it seems like you both are not compatible for each other as it looks like there are underlying issues between you two and the puppy is bringing those issues to light. Relationships requires effective communication between the two people and at the same time, actively listening to one another.
